And from my past experience, the Chinese glass is not to bad....
I'm ocd when I comes to this shit....
All my eq baskets look new still, and they have been blackened many times...
I soak in iso all night... then into very very hot water for a few minutes, then I little scrape, and the black falls off to reveal shiney again....
Don't know if this works for the elb, I will find out soon I suppose....

I emailed vapefiend first thing this morning and they responded instantly, it took me a week of bugging nemastavapes to get a response....
I explained the problems, sent these picture's, and they agree mine is excessively wonky.....

I don't think mine is straight to be honest. And I have a bit of give in my bamboo also (but I think that was my fault). Anyhow, I just hold the Hydratube and pull it right off

I explained that I understand these are hand made parts, and there will always be irregularities, but the vapefiend technician agrees that mine looks excessive...
And my main concern is that it seemshould to want to tip that way easily now....

On a completely separate side note, I've had the same strain for a year now, got some new stash too now, but the evo has bought out flavours from my flowers, that I haven't found in a year of other various vessels of consumption.....
Yeah, mines not perfectly straight either, but it's not enough to make it unstable..
I tend to pick them up when I take a hit, left hand on the Evo, right hand on the glass and remove the HT from on top after.
My glass seems to lean back slightly toward the power cable.
Heck, even the logo on my sleeve is wonky

@kellya86 Just noticed Your turbine seems like it has squared shoulders and the top (can?) space on your turbine looks way bigger than on mine. On my HT the bottom of the mouthpiece is at the same height as the top of the centre post

@UnidenWallet Are these new versions of Dh gate hydratubes sealing on the EVOs like they should? I know the first rounds were kind of hit or miss on how they sealed. Those bottom joints on the new ones still look pretty recessed so I was wondering if they are fitting in most EVOs.

I had a Eq , Ddave kit an a few hydra tubes for years. The thing with the Eq is it was not designed to have a hydratube on top of it. It is allot more fragile than the Evo and it just does not feel right with a Ht sitting on top of it. I have tried it a few times with my Eq. It does work but the Eq was not made with weight being put on top of it in mind. I have seen pictures of members who have taken there Eq's apart and you can clearly see that glass inside can break easily if your not careful. Plus i have tried all the mod's and while its a great device and was one of my favorite vapes for a long time , it does not hold a candle to the Evo. I could never get my Eq to milk as thick and quickly as my Evo could.

However, my first comment on seeing your picture regarding the EQ, is, where is the cyclone bowl?
How does that set up even work? Please don't tell me you're putting in that adapter!! Please don't!

Yeah I see the difference, I've noticed from reading back on this thread, that the ht design's do change...
I wish my glass had colour....
I'm not sure what difference the lower turbine makes...

The DHgate glass is fine, I'd even go as far as to say excellent when price is taken into consideration.
I have the one above in my collection and it works (well) and it even has a nice swirl, lol!!
I mean they are those patriotic types who'll pay stupid money, and I kinda like that, but as a child of the universe, and a world citizen, I buy what I consider to be the BEST VALUE, that's why I've got 4 Dhgate pieces, alongside the original vapexhale glass that came with the EVO, which to be fair, is very nice, but c'mon, 3X as much in price! Nah in these times (Austerity and all that) I can't really balance that!
As they say around here, "ya can fuck right off!" But get me right! If you can afford it, then do ya thing!
Sorry I kinda went off there, I meant to say yes, the glass is functional and for the price, its a very good deal. Don't be put off by the 'foreign' aspect!

Mine isn't perfectly straight either, not enough to bother me though.
More pertinent though is your advice to remove the HT after each hit and before putting down.
Absolutely spot on comment, a world of tears ensues if the Evo goes over with expensive glass on top. Potentially broken bamboo and almost certainly a smashed glass piece.
So not worth the risk. I always remove glass at the end of each hit, evo in one hand, glass in the other and place down side by side.

I had an imperfect seal when I ordered the mini-Hydrabomb from yingmin5 two months ago. I couldn't get good milky hits unless I used a 18m/18f adapter. It is pictured in the middle.
. For the bigger and improved actual-size Hydrabomb I received from the same seller last week, it is pictured to the left. I can't see any visual difference on the recessed joint, I always thought the seal was made better because the bottom chamber was made bigger. I can't guarantee if every order will have a perfect seal, but mine has a perfect one.

Your images for some reason are not showing up for me. There is no cyclone bowl , I had the Ddave adaptor in there and than a 18mm fitting to get my ht on it. Ddave & cyclone have the same 18mm female end on them. I gave up the cyclone bowl in favor of a Ddave adaptor prob a few weeks after ownership. It brings the flowers closer to the heater for a better extraction. If you have never tried 1 , I highly reccomend it over the cyclone . You will get way better extraction using it but it would be used the same way if using a ht , place cyclone or Ddave adaptor on Eq than into a adaptor that matches your hydro tubes fitting .

On another note, my seconds turbine arrived, and I cannot for the life of me find the defect. The only potential issue is the gong isn't grounded all the way to the bottom, but it still seals perfectly, is level when on the table by itself, and pulls water great.
Their idea of "seconds" seems to be what most would argue "normal variation."
Edit: I found the defect. I was applying a decal to the turbine and I found the tiniest dimple on the outside part. I would likely have never seen it if I didn't put the sticker on. And yes, it is the Decepticon logo.

Over the past week few weeks, I watched your decision process and it was very helpful in pushing me over the edge. I too ordered a turbine unit about the same time as you direct from VXL. Mine was delivered yesterday. I finally had a chance to use it today and WOW!!!
It definitely packs a punch. I'm excited to try it through the other glass I own. Turbine was a great choice (wonderful flavor). I did decide to order the new larger matrix DHGate HT as well for comparison. The large matrix standard bubbler I have milks exceptionally nice with the whip setup.
Personally I immediately hated the whistle. Then by the third draw, I realized that it is the perfect warning you are drawing too hard!
The EVO is going to make a fabulous addition to my rotation!!

So there are 2 different hydra bomb dhgate pieces now of different sizes? Awesome! Was unaware, have been off the forums. Can someone link to the bigger piece? Still loving my evo. Use it a ton. Love using the ultra sonic cleaner on the elbs for squeaky clean quick cleanings.
