Yeah, after paying I think around $35 dollars for my initial order no way am I paying that again.

So after all this 'EVO being used while inverted' talk, I decided to only use it that way for a few days. I did not notice any 'electronic smell' or off gassing. I am very sensitive to that. If anything off gasses, my nose will become completely blocked up. I know this from experience.
I only left it inverted for 5-10 seconds and then took a draw. I never let it rest on the bubbler because I like to keep the ELB out of the Bamboo to stir. I wouldnt keep the EVO in my bubbler without an ELB for standy simply because its another step to load it back up. Leaving it right side up is more practical. Not sure about everyone here but I stir after almost every draw.
Used my FC-UFO and LSV short transfer wand for a MP. Hey ataxian, this is something you should look into since you like small mouthpeice openings.

Ok, I just have my EVO do something new. Been on a while. It's all green & lovely. Invert it & red light. Turn back to normal & green light! Sweet! Invert & red light. Turn to normal... green. Invert... red.
Think EVO needs a nap.

Didn't seem to be the cord, as moving the cord did nothing, but the movements of the EVO were consistent with the weird light activity. Just to rule out the cord I tried another. SUCCESS! Consistency from the light!
So the moral of this story is, if this happens to you, try another cord before ranting.

just got my quartz nails today. day early. trying it out with co2 gorilla glue that I got from the local dispensary 45/gm. cap says THC 50.32%. two small hits nice. starting to creep nice buzz. used the stem no problems boy this is really starting to creep. this could save me even more money.
Anyone notice their Evo is inconsistent about auto-turning off? It works 99% of the time, but I just came home from work and noticed I forgot to turn off my Evo. I also forgot to take out my glass nail, so it it was cleaned and everything was *very hot*. Must've been left on for a good 6 hours.
I've noticed this happen in the past but it would only happen in situations where I wasn't sure if 45 minutes had passed or not. This time I know 45 minutes passed.

I think that has also happened to me. I can't be certain since I didn't leave it for a long time and come back to it, but I think it's been on for longer than normal while letting VXNs burn off. I've also noticed (and others have commented on) the lights behaving differently with the VXNs. Perhaps that is the crux of the problem. Something to do with the way temperature is sensed maybe?

Are any of you using the EVO strictly for concentrates?
I don't vape flower and I was wondering if it would be worth it to get the Concentrate Starter Kit and use the EVO only for wax/shatter/oil.
Or are there other more ideal plug in vaporizers that were designed just for concentrates?

Going on one week since I have used the evo. Since my d020-d smashed into a million pieces I have not had a proper bubbler to use this fun device. Only have a massive beaker that is used for bong rips and that is pretty much it. Needless to say I will be ordering a few new pieces for the spring. That FC ufo looks awesome. That looks like the ideal size for the evo for my needs but at this point I think I will just grab the sunshine store tube and Stevens mouthpiece and call it a day. Hoping another tube gets unveiled soon as well

My EVO is coming tomorrow. It's coming FedEx and requires a signature. I'm taking a personal day off from work tomorrow. Had the day coming anyway. I see if i went with USPS ( more expensive ) I could have requested that they leave it on my porch because I'm either home or get home right after the mail comes.
I'm not sure the time FedEx comes? On the email it said sometime before the end of the day Tues. On Saturday while shopping I picked up some OG Kush shatter to try out with the EVO. I have a nice selection of flowers too.

In my Area, I'm the last fedex drop off so my FedEx pkgs come as late as 8oclock PM. You might want to take a personal day the following day as well.
Remember, this thing doesn't need battery charging. So when it gets there, it's more a question if you're ready for IT!

As you know @CarolKing I'm a picky asshole however I've been called way worst!
I tried a lot of heavy hitters and the EVO is very impressive.
Many who I admire had EVO logo's on their posting page?
I wanted to join them however I don't buy anything until it's officially out!

i really like this vape! i can see the need for more ELB's!
The bowl being a GonG, or the bowl fitting inside the GonG (not sure how to look at it) is pretty kick ass!
Also pulled the trigger on a hydro tube which is pretty neat... even though i have Kathys hydro tube on its way...
... my only complaint is minor... it is the auto-shut off
. I'm going to have to change my ways with the evo.. normally i leave my units on 24/7 so whenever i'm in the mood my vapes ready to roll!

You can use an outlet timer or get more fancy with a Wemo switch if you want to have it ready and get around the auto shut off. VXL recommends that you don't leave it in 24/7, but some folks do anyways.... quite impressed, i pulled the trigger friday and received it yesterday(monday)

Also, if you do the max heat up and retreat method you can get in and out of a session in under 5 minutes easy.

How are people using theirs for herbs?
I tend to leave it for a few mins - to hottest temperature, then wait til it's warm.
ELB loaded 80% full, really fine grind - and herbs left out to dry first.
Any way to upgrade this? Is a fine grind a good idea, or is coarse better?

Would love some tips about using concentrate in the Evo (shatter, live rosin and wax).
I know you are supposed to finish the dab in like 1 or 2 draws but sometimes I just cant and after the 3rd draw or so it start to taste like shit (burned etc..). What am I doing wrong ? I'm dabbing at 3 and I wait like 10sec till I see some vapor coming up before taking the first hit. Do I need to put less in the nail ? If I do so I won't be enough medicated and I will need to take another dab or to take a flower hit. I'm getting way more high when I smoke an ELB (60% filled) then when I take a dab and would love to change this situation ! Thanks !

However I'm a consumer I guess?
I don't go higher than 12 O'clock with my SHATTER
My piece is getting smaller than when I started. (my dabs were too "HUGH" )
The way it's designed is the wax is closer to the heat?
Now I love the flavor and get 3 flavor hits.
So load enough for 2 or 3 rips.
