Does this stop after a second as it settles on a temp? I notice it vacillating for a moment now and again as it crosses a threshold, but if you're seeing a sustained irregular pattern I'm in the dark.

Have you tried setting the dial to noon, shutting off, turning on at higher setting? It may be the firmware sensitivity, sometimes requiring a "reboot".

Now that I have my sublimator caged I am using it much more. 2 pinches to sub and two pinches to elb. Accept for overall taste there seem to be no loss by EVO. I was a bit surprised. The ash was darker in EVO. I expected sub to be a little more efficient and therefore stronger or longer but I did not detect that. I love the two hit and done by sub and easiest clean. I love the in control big rip heat of EVO. These rock

@MinnBobber I use pinhead sized rare earth magnets and drag them around to scrape the glass clean after a iso soak.

I think the worst HT spot for cleaning is in the bottom, where vapor goes from the female joint into the bottom section.
First I thought you meant to do this when soaking/ liquid inside but now I'm thinking when empty of liquid/just after soak.
It's the glass where the vapor goes from female joint into the bottom section--the glass that's inside that bottom section so not possible to clean with magnets when filled with solution BUT doable when empty.
The top of the female joint gets the gunkiest BUT I reclaim that with Q-tip wrapped with degummed hemp fiber.

Yeah I drain it first, I like to do it while it is still a little wet from an iso soak. I have hard water so it some times needs a little scrape.
I plop a small magnet in and use a larger one to move it on the outside. Home depot sells larger ones.

I hear you on the shipping. If it is any consolation, I send out MiniVaps domestically and the shipping alone is $17.25. And it's a smaller unit with no glass in it. Although $25 seems like a lot, it's probably reasonable when you consider the size and fragility of the product.

I've been eyeing these up for so long, feels good to finally pull the trigger.
The responsible side of me wanted to not pick this up, or wait it out, but really would be stupid to not grab one now with the sales they have going on. I knew if I didn't, I'd be kicking myself in November. Hoping to use it as incentive to cut back or to take a T-break...I budget my $ for vape's and trees, and had a bit of a backlog stashed up, so I used my monthly med supply fund on this. Now I just need to stay ahead of the curve

I've had Evo fever bad for about a month or so.
I think this is the third & best sale. It really sucks not to be able to jump on it.
