Is the reason people are producing such great results on the VXN because the process is via convention instead of conduction?
. . . One weird thing I noticed is that it whistles if I inhale too hard.
- Surprised how light the unit was. Probably due to the plastic housing and size. Could benefit from a weighted bottom in my opinion to add stability . . .
All this recent talk has me re-comparing the VXN to an Enail
Is the reason people are producing such great results on the VXN because the process is via convention instead of conduction??
An enail has total temp control (0-1000 degrees) And a larger surface area, so this is why i am curious
For the warranty repairs- Is anyone aware of how long the turn around usually is now that their operation is running more smoothly? My unit arrived last Fri.
Previously my units have always broken right when they were having problems with production or something else, it's has been twice now that I've waited over 3 months to get a working unit again.
No. At first I thought this was a convection dab, but it's not. the dab sits on the bottom of the hot glass nail until is starts to boil from conduction. Then you start sucking, which introduces an element of convection, but I think it is still mostly conduction. imo, the great results come from the all glass system and the heat control which makes it easy to duplicate results. it's an all glass heater heating up a glass surface and delivering the vapor through an all glass air path...yummy!
My hydrafoot, though hollow, doesn't have a big enough space to fit the VXNails, either. Perhaps this is the new standard. I was also expecting it to fit. I was wondering about those quartz VXNs. What is the advantage here? Are they more durable or are there other factors?
The gold VXH logo on the front of my HT is fading fast as well, due only to handling it seems, as I don't immerse it in iso or any other cleaning solution when I clean it.
I tried using the heat shield. I like the look and the feel of it, but I just can't handle the smell of the material whether being heated or not. Luckily the unit is easily handled by the bottom portion.
I think you're right when it comes to the results produced with the VXNails via convection. The combination of the relatively low temperature slowly applied, all glass pathway, and convection heating contribute to a pretty unique experience. (EDIT: Looks like Stickstones is right about this now that I think about it. There is a good bit of conduction involved after all) I tend, usually, to dab with the VB2, but am always delighted with the VXNail. I wonder if it is actually more efficient than other methods or if the vapor is just less dense when done with the VXNs.

I have 4 hydratubes. The hydrabomb is my second favorite after my custom recycler piece. Good balance of diffusion and flavor. The bomb is a good choice.Has anyone used more than one of the current hydratubes?
I'm going to be buying an EVO in the next couple weeks (my second one, actually) and plan on getting a tube with it. I'm leaning towards a hydrabomb right now, with the intention of using it mostly with herb. Anyone have some comparisons of the tube that might be of value to me? The turbine also looks interesting.
The smell of the neoprene sleeve never went away for me. It reeks longer and stronger than the materials I vape. For real. People notice the chemical smell from the neoprene before they smell herb in my limited experience. Maybe thats a plus to some, but I cant stand the smell so I stopped using it all together. I just took it off.
I started to hold it by the base and gently support the hydratube. NBD. The base never gets super hot anyway. The top half can be uncomfortable to touch. But nothing that cant be fixed with a wristband if you wish.
Custom Recycler?? Pics please!! And uhhhhh I want one!!!I have 4 hydratubes. The hydrabomb is my second favorite after my custom recycler piece. Good balance of diffusion and flavor. The bomb is a good choice.
Sorry to get your hopes up. I was referring to my Doughboy Klein piece. IIRC you are very familiar those, since I think you have one as well.Custom Recycler?? Pics please!! And uhhhhh I want one!!!

Thanks man. I'm going with the bomb then. I didn't need much persuading lol.
A. I like pieces with some extra diffusion.
B. I've always wanted a matrix perc but have yet to own one.
C. I like effortless pulls.
Also went for the bomb and haven't been disappointed. Great balance of diffusion and flavour. An easy draw is vital for me as my temporal mandibular joint is all kinds of out of line, the bomb delivers so well on this front its all I have been using.
The beauty of the perc is also rather astounding (my first matrix also)
You won't be disappointed.

I sold the Tree version because it was too restrictive. This one is awesome!
Weird, mine smelled terrible at first but went away 2 days later, maybe try leaving it outside for a day or two?
It's very smooth, no chug. A mini rumble of water. It's 5.2 inches to the top of the can and 7.2 to the top of the mouthpiece. It doesn't require any water really. It's awesome in flavor and still really smooth. It also doesn't require a stand(hydrafoot). For the price a steal. Aesthetically it's flawless.I notice it's a circ; how smooth is it, any chugginess? How tall is the body?

We've been doing lots of testing to determine if it is conductive, convection, or radiant heat. Our conclusion is that is a combination of all three but the net/net is that whatever you want to call it, it is far more efficient than conventional dabbing.
I also wanted to make a quick announcement that @stickstones has been appointed our official VapeXhale point of contact for the FC forum. My only regret about starting this company is that I am no longer able to consistently spend time here. I've known Sticks since 2008 and he is someone I completely trust and has intimate knowledge of the device.
Lastly, I thought you guys might get a kick out of this VapeXhale appearance on the Cannabusiness Report
