It wicks up the side and comes out the loading slit. But how does the oil get under the nail anyway is my question lol?

Turn your unit to 12 and toggle the switch from on to off a couple of times to reset it. Also it sounds like you're using too much material but i could be wrong about that partAlright its been comfirmed, about 50 percent of the time I use the vapexnail, it causes the VXC to turn red(off). Not as in it cools it down for a second, half way through the hit thevxc goes cooler and never reheats until switched on then off. Ive noticed it seems to be the vape getting cool causing the oil to no longer rise and start going downward. This probably sounds crazy but what could it be. I'm scared to use the vxn because almost every hit now the remains end up under the nail smoking for an hour.
Also since day 1 with my evo everytime I turn iot on for the first time in the day it goes red but then strats blinking and shuts off after about 20-30 seconds. So every day I want to use my evo I have to switch it on then wait a second then back off, then repeat to be sure it will actually preheat. SO many times I have switched it on just to come back in 10 minutes and its magically off. So these two problems combined i am starting to think something is wrong with my unit, I will make asupport ticket. I am just asking here because I want feedback on if I am using the nail wrong.
The reason I still use the nail is because it does give a great hit, but then the oil ends up dripping under it half the time.
I am by a window with a cold draft, so that could be it, and it seems to mainly have the power on issue in the cold morning.
With the vxn I am loading normal amounts, at the bottom, nothing too big. I wait like 5 seconds then inhale slowly. After I clear it I see the oil slowly milk up in the nail then start going downward and vapor is coming out the bottom of the bamboo. At this point I'm like wtf and remove the nail to see a huge cloud 9f vapor come out from under the naIL and now start vaping off. This happens almost every single hit.
Only observation i made is it seems the vape is going red and the cool down of this is why the vapor is starting to fall. But how does the oil get under the nail anyway is my question lol?

Been away for a long while. I own both an OG ticker and an EVO, and after a long break came back to use the EVO (it hadn't gotten much use since taking advantage of the Indiegogo promotion). I noticed that the vapor output from the EVO can't come close to matching the older unit. I also have to go to 3:00 or higher on the EVO to make much happen (still doesn't match old unit) whereas I'd typically use 10:00 or 11:00 (never going past 12:00 for flowers) on the old one.
I was very excited by the lack of noise and quick heat up times, but have I given up some performance or is the EVO not operating properly? I was hoping the new unit would replace the old one. Where are the thick clouds from the new one? There's no way this thing is going to cut it for concentrates either.

I had a similar thought, but no I haven't tried that. I typically only have one session in a day and haven't pre warmed it. Having to consistently do this would surely nullify its warmup speed advantage over the old unit, though.Have you tried using it after its been on for 30 minutes or more?
Thanks for the tip. I usually use this method on both devices to try to get some initial heat into the ELB before a regular draw. The difference between the devices is still pretty pronounced.I know some may feel it's not necessary, and others may feel it shouldn't be, however I feel the Evo requires more of a inhaling technique vs the simplicity of the Cloud. I find that if you inhale softly for 2 seconds after that you can pull as hard or as softly as you want with MASSIVE CLOUD output. My Cloud can't do What my Evo does when I use this technique. It's a night and day difference when you do this. Just my
If you had problems since day one and have not talked to customer support and asked for a replacement unit then I think that was the problem. You should have contacted support right away when facing problems...Alright its been comfirmed, about 50 percent of the time I use the vapexnail, it causes the VXC to turn red(off). Anyone know what the typical turnaround time is on support tickets these days? I know the company is far bigger now than when we all bought that first run of clouds ages ago.
