nice pieces. Are you guys using whips with those type of glass or are you guys putting your vapexhale upside down? is that safe for a hit? also where do i order the whip at? Their sold out where I tried to look. Thanks

I don't think the new one is better: it is slightly different. Functionally, I believe they are equivalent. The Evolver was $25 cheaper, too.
I hate to say this (maybe not) but I am glad I got the Evolver one. It feels more like a HF stand which is what I wanted. That male joint stick out too far. The Evolver HF 2.0 works well and is not so big which I actually like.

I think the swagger has nice slits and the right angle on the intake can be good for catching particles before they gunk up the chamber.
I like the look of the Evolver one better and it's proportions. Also I don't get why the perc is set so high on the swagger one. Maybe for a HF it can be a plus as more water is more weight there which is desired.

My sweat spot for the ELB is to weigh .08 to .1 before grinding. I have had very nice results. Also depends on your tolerance, but I would not go beyond .1 as it will get to tight.

Well my t-break extends another several weeks but I lost my self-control and just had to try my new Limited Edition HydraFoot 2.0. I only did a 1/4 or less of an ELB the last couple of evenings along with my HydraLine.
A new observation is that the HT sits pretty close to the inverted EVO and the tops of both my HT's are very close to the bottom of the EVO. Not a tight fit but not expansive, either. With the HL, given its unique shape I also have to turn it sideways so that the flow arm/chamber don't interfere with the EVO. None of this made any difference to me, but it did make me think that a little extra forethought would be wise depending on one's glass, just to make sure that the setup will be satisfactory.
I also noticed that in actual use there is a tad of drag added. The volume of the can up to above the perc is a bit more than one might think. Still, with the 40 slits I love the smooth action (I don't like chuggy). The solidness and weight of the glass is apparent in use; with HT and EVO mounted I don't hesitate to turn or walk away, this puppy isn't going anywhere unless you leave it down on a coffee table while playing with your labrador.
Altogether, very pleased. I gather from comments above there will be another somewhat different version coming? I expect as much. Continuous product improvement and newer versions is just the way it is now with consumer hw and sw; the important thing is to be happy with the value of whatever I purchased, no point to being in angst over what was or may about to be. Anyway, I don't know how long the Swagger LE version will be available, and with the caveat cliche that "one man's pleasure is another's poison", I highly recommend the piece I received.

Tonight I should be getting my first "wax" ever. Let's see how this works.
Any suggestions on how to get a size applicable for the EVO VapeXNail ? and how do I put it in. Load it in threw the smile?
From reading this thread, I think I need to take the VXN and place in EVO for a few to get it heated. Then take a little poker grab a little bit of wax, and put it in threw the smile? Then do I rub it off on the smile? how do I get it from poker into VXN? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

My set up is the Evolver + the Ice Pinch tube you have on the right.
I'm completely satisfied with my Evolver as a HF 2.0. I like the low profile and smaller footprint. Obviously the Swagger piece has more...well, "swagger". It's got boss-thick glass, joints and 40 friggin slits! I'd be more than happy with either piece. But the evolver is what I got and it works great with my DIY whip and VXN
I load through the top w/ a pick. I heat the VXN for like 10 seconds, take it out, let it cool for a few seconds, then do "surgery style" steady hand the small dab on the pick and just drop it straight down, it will start to liquify.
I also drop in "through the smile" with a spatula for more sticky or chunky dabs. The smile is pretty wide, and my spatula is curved so the smile "matches" the spat.
My preference is through the top, not the smile (to avoid smear on the outside) but both work easy enough.
The key as others have shown us, LESS IS MORE with dabs in the VXN. When in doubt, cut your dub size in half. I did 2 mega loads last night of a CBD 19% BHO afgoo all day and it was WAY too much for even 2 hits. Took me 4 hits to clear the VXN, that's not good (waste)
I like to do small pieces that = 1 great hit, and 1 final clearing hit that is 70% great with 30% at the end that starts to taste bad.
Mega-size dabs in the VXN cause mega-sized residual which means more cleaning

If it is wax, you can take a tiny spoon and scoop up a little, then pour it carefully in through the smile. If it is not dry/granular, you can scoop up a piece about the size of a peppercorn. Really, no bigger than that. Do trust me. Nudge it into the smile OR drop it from the top. If you have to wipe it off the dabber, just use the corner of the smile to hook it off the dabber.
Gently place the VXN in the bamboo, then look down into it for about 2 seconds, until you see it melt/move/liquify, then place glass on top, and start breathing in rather slowly.
When the vapor first falters (I use a mirror to watch), pull off and clear.

what do you mean by the Dab-Style Flower hit? do you mean put Flowers in a VapexNail, or Flowers + Wax?

Pretty sure he means that he puts a tiny bit of flower in and cranks the heat up all the way. I think he has referenced this before. I believe he calls it dab-style because you basically vape all of your (good) material in one hit.

Correct. Although I don't know who started it back with the original Cloud. It was this type of use that ended my original Cloud, so I am stoked to have an EVO that can take it. It's impressive the hit you can get off just enough to cover the bottom of the ELB when you have it cranked up to high. And the effects last for a good hour or more so that I can get through the afternoon/night on just four or five of them.

I too have been utilizing the dab-style flower technique with my EVO, usually at night. but 3:00 is plenty hot enough on my unit. just enough material to cover the bottom of the ELB. the miracle of this technique is it actually still tastes great at this heat if I make sure to extract everything in one big hit. I just keep pulling until it stops producing vapor. if I need to do a second hit to extract everything then it means I loaded too much
I find the effect from this style to be pretty damn heavy, so I don't do it all the time. I usually hang out around 1:00 and use an HT. at 3:00 the vapor feels a bit too hot for my taste when just using a HT. so I love to use my Ion Matrix or HF 2.0 + HT for these high temp "micro" loads (certainly not a micro hit!)

I have chronic knee pain (arthritis) that seems to occur at night, but not during the day. To date, I have only been vaping sativas. My dealer does have indica strains. Is there anyone in a similar situation, or vaping for pain relief, that thinks an (indica stain ) would help me sleep or relieve the ache in my knee?

I don't have any chronic pain, but I am an active combat sport competitor (got a BJJ tournament this weekend) and I get all sorts of pains from the stuff I do. Within a year I partially dislocated one shoulder and then very severely sprained my other to the point where I couldn't lift it for about 3 weeks. I get nagging pains in my neck and shoulder, in addition to whatever else I may have banged up that day in training.
I spend most of the year in Vancouver, BC, which is a very indica heavy scene. You can find just about any type of kush up there in addition to things like God Bud, Romulan, etc. I find vaping Indica through the EVO has helped this more than anything else (even dabbing consistently, I find those can be too hard on the lungs in conjunction with heavy training). If you have an EVO, I find that it makes the most of Indica's honestly.
