I'm curious if the copper aromatherapy cups can be used for herbal aromatherapy blends, has anyone tried this? If nobody has tried this, @underdog and @underdogette do either of you think putting herbal aromatherapy blends in the copper cups would cause any problems? I'm thinking of just going to try it, ny roommate has a bunch of herbs she's never gonna use so I have a bunch just lying around.
I can't say for sure how well it would work but I can't imagine it would cause any kind of problem. I have heard from a few other Dog owners who put potpourri in their cups along with a little water to moisten it and they say that works well.
ok, I'm ready to pull the trigger on the UD. Question is, do I wait for halloween/christmas specials? What has been the case in the past year or two when it comes to deals?
and my wife usually gets super high after 2 puffs from a joint... will UD destroy her?
finally, we go through 1/8th in about 3 weeks.. Will UD make the same amount last 2-3 months?

@mruj It is a cleaner, more potent, tastier use of your medicine. Second hits are not mandatory. The meds are not used up once removed from heat source allowing for later consumption. When you order your UD you get choice of 4 stems. Make sure one of then is the nylon one hitter. (really one great hit, one ok hit and then combo spent and little bit hit) I know there are lots of folks that will talk .0* something or other bowls . Not my scene. I am a piggy. It is a great purchase but if you love it and start consuming more is it UD's fault?

Whether you might want to wait depends on what kind of Dog you want. Usually the Holiday Special starts Dec 1st and is a lower priced line of homogeneous vapes much like the Vape Specials that are regularly on the website (but at a slightly lower cost). So basically if you want a plain-Jane piece at the lowest possible price then maybe you should wait.. if you want a more unique piece then grab one whenever.
Have your wife start with a Nylon Stem single puff and see how it goes.. probably similar to 2 combustion puffs, especially once her system is clear of the old combustion effects.
As far as how long your 1/8th will stretch.. hard to say.. but I'd be surprised if you didn't at least double your efficiency with a little effort.

Boom! Just placed the order for a teak aircore with 3 direct (thick) & 1 gong.. Didn't want to go through nylon.. the direct glass ones should be backup incase the others break.. Unless you think trying nylon is a must...?

You could just order a SS Stem tip or two with silicone connectors from the website to have the small SS bowl that the nylon stem uses, and use one glass stem with it if for some reason you don't like the nylon itself.
If you own an Underdog I believe you owe it to yourself and your other Half to have at least one stem with the SS tip.

So with lavender adding a bit of water isn't very helpful, I recommend just using essential oil. Didn't cause any problems and smells nice when you're right on top of it, but it doesn't really do much. Picked up a bit of orange essential oil at the store today and gonna use a bit tomorrow to freshen up the house. Hoping that it'll be a good way to get fresh smells in the house when we aren't able to open up the windows much due to the cold winters here.I can't say for sure how well it would work but I can't imagine it would cause any kind of problem. As far as using the dog with water I love the glass on glass, but the nylon has such a unique feel to it. You kind of feel like you have a strange cigar. I also feel like I can leave my dog on the metal for a few hits when using the nong or longer piece, and you can touch the nylon part really fast after using it unlike the glass. With glass I remove the dog right away, and it takes a while before you can touch the glass after you are done.
Dry or wet, you do use very little with nice effect with nylon, and it is really easy to keep clean. I like the glass pieces of course, the flavor may be slightly cleaner, but the nylon was a nice surprise. Something I didn't expect much out of that has really pleased me.

So my Underdog (Teak AC) arrived on Friday, which means it took about a week to reach me, that's not bad at all. Love how the wood looks, and how it feels after being switched on for a while!
Unfortunately, I was dry...luckily, the local ganja merchant was on their way to me. Got some really nice Critical Jack (incase you're wondering).
Dog warm, I loaded up the nylon dd stem, and took a hit. The first thing that really impressed me was the flavour. A hazey pine, backed by a sweet fruitiness, coated the inside of my mouth, I never got such intense flavours from my old vape (MFLB). The exhale produced a huge cloud of vapour, and I soon settled into a very nice high. So nice, that I missed the delivery of my glass bubbler...that meant a trip to the delivery office the next morning.
The next day (Sat) I 'experimented' with the nong and gong stems, I thought I would end up having a preference for one. But, I find myself spacing out a few hits (say over 10-15mins) from the gong, then once that stem is finished I might have a nong hit another 10-15mins later.
I am so pleased with my Underdog, thank you @underdog for creating such a beast of a vape, and thank you @underdogette for answering all my questions and processing my order!
