Honestly...McBride has been a fixture of HBO and a bright spot for almost 20 years now. If that prick Zaslav doesn't immediately sign him for a new project I think that network is done. If it isn't already.

My review for the first two episodes of Severance:

I've compared the first season to Westworld. A sci-fi show that ends on a cliffhanger. So far... Severance seems to be doing a much better job at their second installment.

atm am continue to watching Chicago PD, on series 9 as ran out of things to watch so back to this. Is decent show but nothing like Landman and American Primeval.

Oh I still have every series of better Call Saul to watch.

Maybe the best thing about Severance is, it spits in the face of the algorithm and AI ridden slopification of content. Truly unique. You could give ChatGPT a million years, and it would never come up with this show.

However it is quite different, honestly feels so much like a live action dramedy instead, feels like it is animated largely to save money on the production? However I don't know if I even like this animation style all that much...
