Tashi and the Monk. HBO 45 minute documentary. Watch it. Good medicine for the soul. Kinda gets you to remember the joy of what it was like to be a little kid.

I've been binge watching Marshal Dillon, the 30 minute black and white version of Gunsmoke on Encore's western channel. Classic, simple stories where Matt Dillon is the baddest gunslinger around...he just happens to wear a badge. Loving it. :)
I love Marshal Dillion. He was a major hero of mine as a kid. My uncle always reminded me of him, he was my Marshal Dillion.:)

I like Bonanza too.

I love Seinfeld!

What if we turned this into a Seinfeld Thread?
Or perhaps create a Seinfeld Thread.

I've watched, and continue watch this show since its inception.
It's been a heavy influence on my vocabulary and even the way I think.

I feel it was/is one of the most culturally influential shows ever made.
One of my favorites.....

Edit this one should work.. (First link was private)

Seinfeld is probably in my top 10, I can try to think of one but may be tough.

No particular order:

- Lost (My favorite, a fantastically deep show)
- Breaking Bad (Great drama, great story, great acting, suburb cinema)
- Chappelle Show (Ahead of it's time, funniest skit show ever)
- Seinfeld (Situation/observational humor about nothing, I agree with the above that it shaped my humor)
- Curb You Enthusiasm (Same as Seinfeld, who doesn't love a good cynic though)
- Battlestar Galactica (A deep complex show with great characterization...just happens to be in space)
- Survivor (Incredibly deep and nuanced show, not only in regards to the game being played but the editing of the episodes. First of it's class, started an era)
- Dexter (First few seasons amazing, last few not so much. My dog's named Dexter though, it left an impact)

Honorable Mentions:
- Cops (Background TV on all the time)
- Fringe (Good Sci Fi)
- Big Brother (Background at work all the time)
- South Park (Background TV on all the time)

Well mr. robot certainly took on a fight club-ish kind of vibe at the end of its first season :freak:

I know it's already been listed, but Falling Skies... 5 great seasons and an awesome ending. Very pleased it didn't just disappear like some shows.

Also,
The Blacklist
Dark Matter
Supernatural
Arrow
Flash
Gotham
Grim
Marvel Agents of Shield
Marvel Daredevil
Scorpion
Sleepy Hollow
The Walking Dead

There are heaps of shows that i have adored over the years. Hard to narrow it down, but here goes:

Archer is top of my list at the moment. Only discovered it recently (as in a few weeks ago) so a bit late to the party...

In no particular order:

Archer (how could i not have known about this show? So freaking hilarious!)
Seinfeld (still watching it after all these years)
Curb Your Enthusiasm (the 'my beloved aunt' episode still makes me lol)
Star Trek (am a sci-fi nerd and have watched far too much of star trek...but still love it)

For other aussies:

MKR & MHR (sad, but true)
The Chaser's (all their shows)
Gruen (always funny and clever)
Dirty Laundry Live (love their obsession with monster bong rips, lol)
Anything by the Working Dog team (watching utopia at the moment)
The Littlest Hobo (favourite show when i was a kid...)

SOA, I really wanted to like that show but by the 6th season I wanted all the main characters to get whacked and the town nuked. I could not get myself to even watched the last season.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of my favs. This episode especially. Seeing the therapist in a thong and Larry trying to hide from him at the beach was hilarious. Then the aftermath.

Larry wants to discontinue his counseling when he sees his therapist (John Pleshette) in a thong; Rob Reiner convinces Larry to do a lunch as a prize in a "Groat's syndrome" charity auction, only for him to annoy the winner when he starts eating first.

EDIT
I'm not sure when they will start a new season? I hope there will be more episodes. The above episode is a rerun from some years back.

Any Aussies gotta love "Housos"
Ugh, I couldn't stand that show...
That main chick was annoying as fuck Imo, and she was trying so damn hard to put on that bogan accent that she looked like some horror combo of "constipated" and "mid aneurism".

I've never really been a fan of the pizza crew though, so it probably just wasn't for me...

I'm so stoked gruen is back on :)
I've seen Wil live twice this year (Wiluminati [at the opera house ], and Free Wil), and I'm gonna go see him again in a few weeks :D

Apparently our whole "revolving door PM" policy is kinda fucking with his current stand up set - because it's all about politics

If you're at all a fan of Wils Comedy,
Wait, scratch that, if you're a fan of standup comedy at all, check out Justin Hamilton.
He's been knocking it out of the park recently too :D

Ahh, yeah, this is meant to be the TV thread, not the comedy thread

RICK AND MORTY!
Goddamn I'm loving this show...
I'm a bit behind this season, I've seen the 3 that leaked, and the one with the alien marriage councillors, and it's still awesome :D
I've amassed a collection of about 6 Rick and morty T-Shirts over the last few months :D

Haven't seen it - it's about marketing techniques???

Two new BBC comedies I'm really liking: Cradle to Grave (growing up in '70s East End London) & Boy Meets Girl (A Newcastle love story...of sorts).
Yeah, each episode kinda has a general theme, they'll usually show an ad, then discuss what it was aiming for, if it was effective, general panel show discussion type stuff.
