Tornado by Vestratto

I am looking for an adapter and a stem for my setup. The shop should be based in the EU to avoid high shipping costs and customs fees.

Do you have any recommendations?

I have both. forge wins hands down in my opinion.
Please elaborate..... 🙏 videos would be very much welcomed. are you planning on obtaining the wagon wheel?...or do you need it?....what are you using tn the bottom of the Forge heating tunnel to hold the Tornado head?

This is more of a general question, but I’ve been using an unlined wooden WPA with the Tornado and was wondering if it has any advantages over the SS lined ones. Also, for cleaning, would you recommend 99% ISO or something else?

Thanks.

It will draw less heat away from the bowl. Increasing efficiency. Short accessible wooden vapour paths are easy to clean. I would just swab it now and again. I wouldn't use ISO on wood however.

Okay, so the wagon wheel comes with the forge. It allows you to adjust the depth of the heater to accommodate different ovens, and fine tune your experience, there is no need for anything else to hold your oven.
Some of the things that set the forge and wand apart are time of heating, and overall repeatability. The forge can be setup to have either a short or long heat cycle depending on your preference. Where as the wand needs to be pretty much maxed out, and takes approximately a minute to heat cycle. Comparatively the forge takes about 15 to 20 sec. the wand also can be kind of awkward to use correctly imo. The other thing the forge has going for it is great battery life if you invest in good batteries, and results are easily repeatable.
I will say this though, the wand does work, and it is much cheaper. If your on a budget and you want to save $250 or so, and don’t mind longer heat up times, the wand might be for you.

I have no idea how you guys are getting these slow times with the Tornado. The temp setting on the Wand is irrelevant as well as it's just a timer, not a power level. I could never heat past 23 or 24 sec from cold or I'd combust. If I tried to heat for a minute it'd be disastrous.

This video is sped up but you can clearly count about 23 flashes of the Wand for full extraction.
