i canceled my purchase yesterday with dr vaporizer...after 10 days...

they sent me the Tinymight 2 via Chronopost....
arrived at the airport, Chronopost decided that it could not ship an "electronic cigarette" and returned the package at the sender's expense....
the seller made a complaint.... whose answer takes a long time to come.... and he wanted to wait to be reimbursed before trying again because.... he pays around 50€ per delivery (that he does not charge us !!!!)

it gave me time to think and tell myself that I won't need the TM2...

so there you go, I'm going to keep watching this thread from afar, convincing myself that I don't need a new portable convection vaporizer....

Sorry you weren't exactly precise in your response to my quote, so you are saying that anyone who said that is wrong, it never happened to them, because it never happened to you? Myth or not I still think it's not impossible even though it hasn't happened to me, don't doubt could have happened to others each one and each person could be unique, but whatever

It is indeed possible to combust in on demand mode if you draw before the warm-up buzz. It happened to me once a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away - rookie mistake). Live and learn.

Ditto. My OG TM rose the ranks to my fave portable vape for the same reason. The TM simply rocks - every single time.

Looks like there is some TM2 left in stock if anyone is interested.

Let me know if RED pops up on the radar. I know a limited batch will likely be done however not for a while based on what I’ve heard.

This thread is flying the last few days! Glad I’m on vacation this week to catch up with all the positive vibes and posts. Wish I could commiserate and celebrate with you all with my TM though I’m sure it’ll be back in my hands repaired soon. I definitely miss it! A TM2 right about now would be an ideal backup - or stand on its own - but I’ll hold out for the color of my affection: RED.

is not true...
it often happens to me to start the hit before the buzz and there was never any combustion...not even a rise in the selected temperature.
The TM does not detect the hit...if you start inhaling before it continues to heat up with exactly the same intensity...what happens is it takes much longer to reach it

Well that came to $310 shipped (presumably +a $5 international transaction charge I'm expecting) so I did the damn thing, while there was plenty of stock without a bum rush and a great price! Seems like it will be transferred to USPS shipping from LaPoste in France... Hopefully quick? Meanwhile I confirmed my security of an eventual purple heart direct as well (and a GVB stem)

I ordered mine from them. It should be here today supposedly, we’ll see. I ordered it last Friday. It was transferred to FedEx which I dislike so much.

Keep finding more things I like about TM the more I use it. Below you can see a stem with a deeper rimless basket and a shallow rimmed basket. This allows to change the bowl size in an instant effortless way, by just adding/removing the rimmed basket. Possible the the easiest bowl size modification in the vaping landscape?

My replacement Stem from Ed arrived today, my original being too large to fit inside of the TM2. Ed was fantastic to work with, super quick to respond, and took care of everything for me. No words can accurately describe just how good the stem looks. This is such a beautiful piece of art. I swapped the beads from my original order off VG into the new stem and yes, I've found my portable non-glass stem solution.

I've now seen two of Ed's stems, and one WPA. They were all uniquely beautiful, and had extreme care put into them. The logo placement even.. it's perfectly set where I would consider the wood to be the "least interesting," nothing about the logo compromises the art.

Does the $350 include shipping? Were there taxes on top? VAT removed so it was lower than $350?

Trying to decide if its worth ordering from the other site a member shared. €290 +€30 shipping = $315 USD

Other potential downsides to ordering from a 3rd party?

I wrote to TM, asking to be put on any list for newer wood types in general, maybe PURPLEHEART is all they will be offering in the future, no one can be certain, but this is the response I received:

“Hi! thank you for contacting and for the positive feedback.
Yes, you are now on our list, called the Red list.”

OBVIOUSLY the TM wood list was named after our pal RED… better known as @Vaporific

Actually the shipping is €25 in the total is €315 so conversion rate that is about $310 (but I am expecting an additional $5 for insurance action fee possibly from credit card which would make it 315)

So far, the VAT and conversion benefit, seems to only come from VF and DV, the downsides are your ordering from another country third party, warranty still covered by TM, but I don't know if you get the exact same coverage shipping back etc or US coverage from VGZ at all ever this way, still waiting to see how shipping is from DV, seems like it gets passed on to FedEx, takes about a week?

I don't know if these are downsides per se, but it's also nice to support direct, if you can, but of course it is nice to save when there are little loopholes like these (especially since I am going to shell out for a red later anyway it was more justifiable for me in this case)

This is really a topic for the shipping and ordering thread, but VF sold out very quick with their second batch like VGZ though maybe they will get more for their third batch? Again, it is the remove taxes and conversion rate, along with VF discount code...

Direct from TM, it comes to around $370 shipped (fast UPS DHL if there aren't issues), vgoodiez it is about $350 shipped (USPS parcel select so a little slower maybe but in the US)

Looks great ! It is funny cause i was just thinking about that today and was going to propose it to the maker ). I would really add some extra art looks to its simple beauty.
I want mine in seemless flower of life pattern <3 !

Imo walnut is not the best wood for etching because it is so dark and the black lines get lost in the grain .
