Will be getting my hands on one of these portable powerhouses pretty soon.
I've enjoyed some of Ed's work on other vapes, but wondering what else is out there in terms of wooden stems for the TM2.
any other recommendations?

Another Ed (@Deg999_ ) makes very nice wood stems for the TM. I am currently waiting on one as it crosses the country to me! I have some of his RBT stems and a Shammer so I know his work is top notch.

Also been using this TRWW cooling stem from my unnamed TED on a plain 14mm wpa. Magical tastes at lower end, stupidly good.

They are great, I also have his smooth draw with the narrow thin mouthpiece but do prefer this. Looking forward to a package from the connoisseur of clouds however.....cant wait!

Well that came to $310 shipped (presumably +a $5 international transaction charge I'm expecting) so I did the damn thing, while there was plenty of stock without a bum rush and a great price! Seems like it will be transferred to USPS shipping from LaPoste in France... Hopefully quick? Meanwhile I confirmed my security of an eventual purple heart direct as well (and a GVB stem)

when you check out it doesn't charge you for the VAT, which is why it's cheaper.... but that leads me to believe they're gonna have to get that outta ya somehow... so i dunno... Snacks'll have to let us know if they charge him any more than he expects... if not i wish i didn't grab one during the last direct drop

Yeah depends where you are sending it.

If its the UK then the UK government will charge you the VAT at 20% and its all done automatically via the postal service.. so yeah you get a bill come through before you get the package delivered + a £10 admin fee for processing it for you!!!

Yeah it showed that for me, until I entered my US address, and then it removed the VAT exactly... (that is what used to also happen ordering from Collyland in Germany, would be like a little discount for some folks lol) conversion rate only helps a little bit more.. This was the US deal from vapefiend too

it often happens to me to start the hit before the buzz and there was never any combustion...not even a rise in the selected temperature.
The TM does not detect the hit...if you start inhaling before it continues to heat up with exactly the same intensity...what happens is it takes much longer to reach it

I messed up my first OG TM by drawing before the vape came to temp. I started drawing early and I combusted.

@Abele Rizieri Ferrari I enjoy using this same 14 mm cooling device I bought from TRWW directly. I sometimes use the 3-d cooling stem at home, but it is difficult to transport. This cooling stem is only on top of the iWPA while using for transporting it comes off the WPA making it a small package.

If anyone wants one of these cooling stems :

There's also a vibration, when it is already on, when you press the button, to indicate it is up to temp and time for you to hit, you shouldn't really hit it before that...

yeah I don't get any vibration, if i do i miss it, so it's no good

Can you elaborate on this? I don't understand how this would work, the o rings ensure correct air flow without leaks so I must be misunderstanding.

i can't tell you any other way, it's perfect read it again, nothing afects the draw TM isn't like that

Even though English isn't my native language, I'm not bad a it and i can't figure out at all what you're describing neither. And I read it a few times.

For people having Cooling Unit problems with the CU fouling, the easiest soloution is to pack your cannabis in a screen.

I always have a rimless basket screen between my CU and my cannabis. Even when I use a rimmed basket screen. This makes cleanup more tolerable and less frequent.

ohhh, ok if vapefiend had the same deal then my p-noia re the extra $ was unwarranted, just assumed they'd be long OOS if several (seemed like all? but i dunno, haven't been scouring or anything) vendors w it for $350 have been... tho i guess it will be in no time lol

Agreed, i originally wanted a Purple heart but now i have my walnut im really happy and have no desire for PH.

Completely agree. Walnut is stunning and much better quality wood than the OG TM.

I have one I really like it. Haven't used it that much because i use the mp for out of the house and I've mainly been hitting my TM at home. It's very well executed and aesthetically pleasing imo.

(I think I posted it earlier in the thread)

I did just drop my TRWW 14mm mp with the spikes from the other page

so I will probably use is more often the comingperiod.
