Should I not even be pressing down that hard on it?

Light or no tamp works best. At least it does for me. Got my rimless dome screens delivered today and can’t wait to go au natural with just a screen and stem in my TM later after work. I’m gonna start at 3 or so as I’m starting 5-6.5 with the short stem and cooling unit. I’ve been using a cooling unit for 395 days now so this will be interesting and new...

but I suppose it's how you pack the chamber. Try a coarser grind and make it sit fluffy so the hot air can travel through it.

I’m pressing down hard enough so none comes lose.

it’s very difficult to pull in and out so the seal is as tight as a clams ass

@Spike11552 : I've posted the solution in previous posts, it's a clear sign that your inner aluminum tube is too high for your TM's wooden body

pack loose and insert the stem with the TM upside down.
if it's charring it's not a seal problem

Just a thought, because it sounds like you're doing everything right really, does this bud perform well in a vape your more familiar with?

@Spike11552 it does sound like you're doing all the right things. The only differences I see between your methods and mine -

I dont tamp at all. Maybe a gentle finger roll when I knock off the excess but really for the most part I suck it up like a straw, knock off the excess, insert and go.

I use no additional screens with the stock stem. Just the Tinymight's cooling unit, about as deep as the stem is wide. Shortening that up works just fine if you dont want that much though.

I also stick with a pretty slow draw on the TM actually, not like snails pace slow but, I would say on the slower side of medium speed. It's all relative though, I wish there was a better way to convey draw speed. But by you saying if you drew any harder youd be out of breath in 3 seconds, that makes me think maybe you should slow down a bit as well. I can get vapor in shorter hits, but I like to shoot for a 10 second or more hit.

Honestly it can't be helped to need a refresher in a thread this long. There should be certain extremely helpful posts paperclipped to the top of the thread. Like a quick tips guide.

The most important part is it's ripping your face off. The fact that you were getting good hits on low numbers means you'll be able to explore flavors like you've never been able to before. Have fun dude

Version 2.0 is more compact and much cleaner. This is just the stock, short stem with a rimless basket screen and a 14mm male adapter with o-rings to secure it.

She pairs wonderfully with an MF Orbiter

Cheers to you my friend! Yes but no?!? The picture I remember seeing was in hand and the mp was held in by two black pieces of silicone ....... I think was a while ago.

red alert tinymight super friends I just noticed my tinymight has gone quiet normally I can easily hear it in a quiet room but it’s not so loud it’s annoying, just a satisfying hum that lets me know I’m pressing the button firmly enough, that my tinymight is functioning and all is right with the world but today I can’t hear it half a arms length away and barely at all when it’s close enough to hit. Everything else is fine, strong haptic, still totally rips, still getting good clouds down at 3, avb is dark and well extracted. It’s just super quiet? Haven’t totally discounted myself, maybe I’m getting a head cold but I feel fine now. Hoping this isn’t the start of some malfunction. I’m going to monitor and see what happens rather then monkey with the contact strip right now because it’s always been fine for many many months so unless I get a drop in power I’m leaving it. I miss my tiny electric Tibetan throat singer, Tao Tao why have you gotten so quiet?

Do they have an online/social media presence at all or is it just email? I wasn't able to find anything other than this vgoodiez listing (all sold now). Would love to get something else from them in the future.

The drawback is that, more than I would like, the glass will break when replacing the cooling units. Gotta learn how to use the jay hook.

Do you have the spare oring pack? If you look very careful at them you will see there are 2 sizes. Try using 2 small size on your cooling unit

Cheers and Happy Humpday. Something must be in the water, er weed, as this thread is hopping today. I’m not a vape newbie but not a vape Yoda yet. I’ve had my Tinymight for 14 months, blissful months with it might I add, and it delivers every single time for me. I’ve had a few issues which I was able to resolve. All good. No, great!

I’ll add to the Happy Wednesday vibe that I tried using the TM without the cooling unit AND with the long stem for the first time. Wow! I used a simple dome screen about the same distance as I would with the cooling unit. With the cooling unit (and short stock stem) I start 5-6.5 depending on things and finish off 7-8.5, 2-3 draws on each temp and done. Without the CU I started at 3 to be in the cautious side (better safe than scorch I always say - indeed I’m a big native user and seldom use cooling). The first load was admittedly not tamped as well as I would’ve like and fell apart and got all clingy (static), and the load fell apart and I had to retamp a couple of times. Semi-rookie mistake but the Super Sour D tasted great after several draws. I turned it to 4 (but it goes to 11 ) and finsished it off with 3 more draws. AVB wasn’t as dark as with the CU but vapor was nelgicnle at that point. I got nice clouds most of the way through the load. I brushed everything clean, I had too with the loose pack.

I pushed the screen a tad closer to the stem edge for the next load, a slightly more course and moist homegrown indica dom from NH. I started on 3 again and had several tasteful draws again. That’s the beauty of low temps, the taste. And I’ll admit the effects are pretty dang good with the TM this low too. I hardly got clouds below 5 with the CU, so this is new for me on several fronts - and I’ve had this great vape for over a year. So I just went for one extreme to the other with this amazing vape and there are still more in-between things to try like a CU without the nuts and washers (to me that’s literally the median - ok, maybe just one CU piece instead of two can also be counted). I can do a j-hook or go through water if I want too. In time. I really enjoy vapes as they are mostly. I’ll also add my draw lengths were intentionally shorter without the CU to be again conservative so I don’t irritate my throat (been there, done that with my Hoppers).

But dang, my TM delivers every single time. Love this thing! OK, need to continue celebrating with more indica!

I was the same way, liking my vapes the way the were, native, until I got these OGB hooks. I just cleaned both my short stems and cooling units (that I was religiously rotating through) last weekend and put them away into a little pouch reserved for “out of the house” use only

Now that I’ve got my tinymight running and we’re on the topic of jhook’s, I think I’m in store for one. I’ve been looking into finding what performs the best to avoid using this TM stem and cooling unit because I’d like to collect the reclaim. I see some recommending rogue waxworks and OGB. Are there other styles that you guys would recommend before I pull the trigger on one of these bad boys?

Question: last night I tried using the TM on the lowest power setting (1), I use it with just the CU and the short stem. I don't like to overdo it, so I don't pack too much, there's maybe a fifth of an inch between the bottom of the CU and the bottom of the short tube.
Surprisingly, even on '1', I got fairly big clouds and it was enough to keep me happy for a couple of hours. Is this normal? From reading this forum it looks like people don't start getting clouds before '3' or am I not reading this correctly?
Oh and tamping-wise, I just use the tube as a straw to pick up material and the brush off the excess.
