That sounds like a one time mess up, I've ordered those batteries a couple times now and all is good. Just like the one I got from TV but way cheaper. Can't tell any performance difference between them too.
Edit: Hey jrreistein, mine also jingles...sorry thats all I know so far about the LL...only used it three times, been stuck on the EO

I just got my cera (LL) yesterday and I am having some problems getting it working. I used it right out of the box and it was great. Nothing abnormal happened after that session, but in the morning when I went to try her again the heating element would not light up with a fresh battery. I noticed that when I had the bottom switch engaged, and I pressed down pretty hard on the top of the LL core the light would go on and it would heat up, but when I let go of the top it would turn off. Putting a dime under the battery did not change anything. The only abnormal thing that I can tell about my cera is that when I shake my LL core, there is a slight jingle/ sound of something loose inside of it (sounds like metal on metal). Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated!!!

If it jingles it sounds like the battery is not fully touching the core. My best advice would be to try putting two dimes in or maybe pulling the spring up slightly to see if it does anything. Also make sure the core is fully screwed in. What battery are you using? Hope that helps.

I tried the two dimes but that does not work. To clarify it was not the battery that jingles, it is a slight jingle in the core itself. The battery is the stock 2900 battery. Thanks for the help!

Maybe your core was damaged during shipping, my LL core has no jingle, not sure about others though.
Crazy, I just looked at your old posts and it seems like we are having the exact same thoughts. I guess great minds think alike, or highly medicated ones

I am getting good results letting my bud dry out a bit more and not packing it so tight, it seems like the load is less prone to move as a whole.Lol dude that really sucks not getting the batteries but i cant help but laugh, i really dont know what my reaction would be if i opened my spare batteries and this is what i found
. Maybe if you ask nicely amazon will let you keep the DVD for your troubles 
. FWIW I ordered from the same link last week and had no problems, actually ordered 4 more yesterday so hopefully everything goes smooth.

Don't panic. This too happens, my experience wasn't quite so comical (are you sure you didn't secretly order that DVD???). IIRC you do it all on line, they provide the return label (print off on your end) which is prepaid and get the replacement out the same day.
You get the usual automated 'we got it' and 'we've issued you credit' messages. IIRC you have 30 days to return it.
You can beat the Cera if you don't dally.
If the battery cap screws up normally, a dime or two won't improve that. Sure sounds to me like the heater is broken, you should not be pushing on it to get it working. If it goes at all you might be able to limp along until a good one gets there, otherwise I'd be sending the core in. For sure noting should be loose inside, that's not going to get any better on it's own.
Sorry for the bad news, but IMO the sooner you get it fixed the sooner it's going to be fixed?

Ya i am pretty sure you are right, something is broken inside of the core, loose inside of it. It is never turning on so I am just waiting on a reply from info@thermovape.com so I can send it in and be able to use my cera as soon as I can!! Thanks everyone!

) But I found this whip laying around, and this Ceramic Screen was in it..... maybe this would help keep the herbs packed down in LL cart??? dunnoo though just sharing......

Yeah man those are the same screens I just got, received them yesterday. Bought a pack of 5 from VaporBrothers for like $15
And my ceramic mouthpieces are in the mail ready for me to pick up, bought from empiremods.com for $3 a piece!
So far the screens are awesome. I'll post a pic tonight of how I rig everything up. But those ceramic screens happen to fit PERFECTLY inside the Cera cap without the mouthpiece in, I'd like to figure out a way to mount the screen on the inside of the Cera cap, without actually molding anything to the cap-like using high temp ceramic putty or something... I just don't want to damage my cap.
Right now I have it snug under my rubber grommet with one of the LL O rings around the ceramic screen, my rubber grommet is pushed into the thermal cap and everything goes on top of the ceramic screen then put onto the mouthpiece-less Cera cap.
I have so many cool ideas for this open mouthpiece thing, I'm trying to rig something up so I don't have to use the thermal cap. I got a few good ideas up my sleeve just you wait.
Also, my set up allows for 510 drip tips, hence the ceramic mouthpieces.

I think this is just the USPS tracking system. It's never really been all that accurate or reliable, in my experience. Knowing them, it'll get updated again after you receive the delivery.
