I believe OF stands for Original Funkmaster... Haha, I think i know what it actually stands for but I wouldnt wanna spoil it or be wrong. I think this may deserve its own threadOF=Old Fella??? If so, perhaps the Cera may be a good avatar lol (maybe only other Aussies will get this - not sure if this slang is used overseas)

Damn, where did this come from? Bummer! Just crossing my fingers!!!I'm guessing the copper strip, no power to both carts trying multiple batteries. Could be the switch havnt ruled that out as i am at wOrk gonna try the foil wad when i get home, dunno I did notice my last few sessions the battery was more warm than usual.
I noticed that the visible top ceramic heating element in my essential oil cartridge is crooked, so I poked it with a skewer and found that it's a bit loose. Is that normal?
A question for you battery experts: In the Cera FAQ on the TET website it says "Do not use an ICR Li-Co un-protected lithium ion, lithium cobalt batteries. Any battery has to be protected with a minimum 2C." How do I know if it is protected or not? What does the 2C part at the end mean? I know some guys on here ordered these batteries, myself included: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKQQ990/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
How do I know that these are safe to use? Or if other batteries I look at in the future will be safe? I know the 18650 part matches but i'm sure there is more to it, right? Just want to make sure I treat my Cera right when she gets here this week.
Those are fine, they work great actually. Me and alot of other people are stocking up on them because they arent in production anymore so who knows how much longer they will be available. I just bought 4 more I feel like a battery hoarder.
As has been stated, that's normal. I would just recommend being extremely careful poking that piece of ceramic though. I imagine It wouldn't take much to crack or chip a piece off, and it's a pretty integral component.I noticed that the visible top ceramic heating element in my essential oil cartridge is crooked, so I poked it with a skewer and found that it's a bit loose. Is that normal?
So big news for Ti! We got back a few assemblies with the new welded strap, having a couple of them endurance tested then a production run! Its looking pretty good though and gets completely away from solder on the body.
You mean Cera Mini, right?P.S. OF that is pretty sweet! Gets me thinking about a shorty body maybe in the future.
Do not buy your batteries from TV as it is twice as expensive as purchasing from the manufacturer.
You mean Cera Mini, right?
Not to badger you guys so much, but do you think we'll see the 510-Cera adapter any time in the next few months? I would love to be able to throw a CEO on top of my Ultra and stash my DART away for the Apocalypse Thanks for keeping us updated, I like knowing that the news is coming straight from the source
Open question since I didn't see an answer last time I asked, but is the LL cart on the Ultra a possibility, or is it going to be getting the same performance as the Evolution? Even the Evo LV isn't exactly3.7vUltra friendly, I'm assuming the watt difference between LL and EO is the problem? Dunno if I could justify ~$315 for a new vape (even though I'd absolutely love it), $100 and the adapter is a bit more reasonable for me right now.
Yeah mine seems to have the same problem, still waiting on my repair to be sent back to me still. Any word on yours yet?I'm guessing the copper strip, no power to both carts trying multiple batteries. Could be the switch havnt ruled that out as i am at wOrk gonna try the foil wad when i get home, dunno I did notice my last few sessions the battery was more warm than usual.
IIRC they have a new solder-less building procedure. It seems to be the biggest problem right now with the Cera, and they're definitely looking into it.Yeah mine seems to have the same problem, still waiting on my repair to be sent back to me still. Any word on yours yet?

When we get our Ceras back will this copper strip problem ever come back again though? Or is this a bug that TV has sorted out now that a bunch of people has reported it and had to return their Ceras?
Really bummed about having my Cera out for repair more than I have used it, so far.
Were working on the mini, still finalizing the drawings
Do you happen to know if the current drawings of the mini use the same carts as the cera? It would be great to be able to use the carts we already have!
OF, you are not always right and I am not talking cheap. These are the same EXACT batteries. Why make it a safety issue when they are the same identical batteries? Just trying to help others save a buck. The Cera is quite expensive and so are the batteries. The only reason to buy batteries from TET is because OF says so. LMAO!
