speaking of... can anyone point me to a video or good instructions on how to easily
take out/reinstall the TA3 matrix screen? I've only done it once so far with some tweezers and it feels like I could tear it.
Only swapped mine a couple times and used sharp tweezers. Definitely a stiff screen! Might try a poker to get it to lift on one side, then tweezers or even small pliers to help out. Like the vid kegstand pointed out, I used finger to start it back in, then small rod to force it all past the threads.

Hey thanks for the heads up, i ended up ordering one. I've been using the reload as a heat sink, but it's not great at removing the cap. If I try to decap with the reload I usually unscrew the air intake screw.

Do you know if they’d work with the Tempest (or any other similar magnetic devices) as well?

Yeah same here. I was using the reload, but I have to keep it very loose or I run into the same problem.

Just checked and it works with my tempest, but the reload magnet it stronger. I'm still seeming to have issues with the screw unscrewing when I debowl the ta3 with the magsink. Also was Curious what the Allen key supplied with the magsink does. Like I know it's for the little screw, but what would be the point in removing it?

I got one too in an order and it’s pretty underwhelming imo. Haven’t tried the TA yet but tempest, fusion, and the very loose tornado heads are slipping on it. They do stay on when removed though and can easily be set upside down which is cool. I have the reload and a screw/nut retrieval tool with a stronger mag to accompany it.

I have a question about using TA4 with Flare? How many watts for how long will be best for MTL?
I don't believe we have lots of leverage to manouver with Flare paired with TA4.
I'm at 120W and 45-50sec, a quarter spin of coil base below maximum height, using zirc balls.

I just recently finally tried 40 mesh screens and it's soooo much better now.
Made a mistake going with 60 mesh from the beginning, that are more suitable for concentrates I believe.
Liking it much more now. Paired with Jhook, clouds just don't stop. Had brother in-law almost choking on it lol.

Yeah I have problems with TA3 screw coming undone to with the Magstand. Have not worked out how to address. May just tighten the screw down tighter...

Had the TA1 for a bit and have been spending time with my ta3. I have tried both on a few different simrell setups and will say it works but not ideal. Full titanium mvs, it gets a bit warm and isnt great for back to back its because of this. I have a blackwood stem with no airports that is awesome but the metal mouthpiece gets way to hot. I have used orings and filled it up with sic pearls, that works better but then the body gets pretty hot. I actually was using it on a micro setup with sic pearls inside and it worked but my finger would get a bit to hot trying to cover the airport. I have a dovetails on the way.
I have now tried it with boro, sic, and rubies. I would say sic is better for wpa as it really can hold and dump heat fast. Rubies have been working out pretty well with the stem setup. They seem to take a bit more to heat up and are slower to release. Id like to try zirc at some point but Ill probably stick with rubies in the ta3 for now.

Hello all. Just discovered this device and quite intrigued. The video on VGoodiez caught my attention with the fact it can hold heat and be puffed on for close to, if not over, a minute. I'd love to achieve a setup like that for longer puffing sessions between reheat. It also looks like this thing can be cranked in heat for a huge one hit extraction on a bubbler or something as well. If that's the case, is there a specific model I should grab to achieve those goals? I thought the Ta4 was the one, but it went out of stock while I was trying to research the device. Any guidance is appreciated!

I have the 1 and 3. The 1 is the most open and best for bong hits as a result. The 3 is only slightly tighter, so it's plenty capable of this too. The 3 is my toking TA on a nice glass stem. Gotta say, these are my favorite of all the heavy-headed stemmed vapes. All are great, but these are best.

How proactive is phattpiggie at answering emails? Dying to get my hands on the TA4 but don't have instagram so need to order through email.

this is how I been rocking my ta3. Simrell brass mp and ss lined purple heart stem made by me and a dynavap condenser. Just got the big shot. What are the heat up times for 3mm boro and 3mm ruby. I recently switched to ruby but seems to take longer (with my old torch vs boro). This blazer flame is huge, even on the lowest setting!

I just heat 'em til they glow, then let the glow die and begin test-puffing. Love your stem, it's like a big purple blunt!
OK cool I would say I usually do like a 15-20 second count. With the big shot prob more like 15. Ruby can definitely take a good bit more heat it seems. Thanks, I actually made it as a tempest mid section (14/18). I've made a few mid sections. Check out my imgur. Might make a full length acrylic stem today for the ta.

Got a TA4 and magsink on the way folks 🙌

Anyone from the UK know any good stems (other than the tempest stem) to use with this?

Glass Charlie made me a heady dimpled tempest stem. it arrives today with my tempest head! I'm also wanting an aezhenn wood / glass stem. I think he is in the UK but I am not sure.
