I haven't tried the Dobby yet unfortunately! It's definitely the next Dreamwood model I'd like to grab though.Nice. You say you have other Dreamwoods. Could you say if the cooling on the Vapopipe is similar to that of the Dobby? Would you describe the cooling as inadequate? Does the hot vapour discourage usage from yourself?
Check out the Dreamwood Dobby. Same idea. Making the form as small as possible.Does anyone have the micro V4 by O'Connell? Looks cool design wise but out of stock atm.
That one you'd have to find in the classifieds, it's been discontinued for a year or two. I have a v3 Micro which is wonderful, I assume the v4 is as well.Does anyone have the micro V4 by O'Connell? Looks cool design wise but out of stock atm.
This is a great option. Nice and pocket-friendly, easy to use, beautifully made. It's considerably smaller and slimmer than the other portable bricks (besides the Micro) but opens up to a comfortable size, with slightly longer vapor path than the Micros I think.Check out the Dreamwood Dobby. EDIT I can't vouch for it. I have not tried it. I have a Dreamwood DLX though and it's great. Some of the more experienced butane vape users on this forum swear by Dreamwoods. I imagine it will cool atleast as well as the Micro, and it won't have the scorching problem the micro had.
I ask about the micro v4 specifically, because I had a thread a bit ago talking about a sticky brick concept I had and the safety but the idea I drew up was pretty similar to the micro V4. So was just hoping to find some more videos of using it on here. Ive looked at the dreamwood while im sure they are nice im looking for something super pocketable-ondemand/stealthy. And the brick style is super quick heating just. Not always the most stealthy due to the form factor. That one you'd have to find in the classifieds, it's been discontinued for a year or two. The Dobby is meant to be easily pocketable as well. It looks only slightly larger than the Micro in the pics to me. It might even be thinner. Less parts and less expensive also.im looking for something super pocketable-ondemand/stealthy
From Dreamwood's site:the Micro Wood Dimensions: 3 3/8" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/8"
This is approximately 1" x 2 2/5" x 4", rounded up for cleaner fractions.Size of the wood body approx. 25mm x 60mm x 100mm
I always forget the size looks bigger in the pictures anyone here use the dobby? Would be cool to see some more of it as well. The Dobby is meant to be easily pocketable as well. So very similar size according to the manufacturers.

I actually just ordered one the other day so haven't used it yet, but we definitely have other people around who have experience with them. I can post thoughts/pics when I get it if you want, but I'm sure the experienced users who already have one will be willing to also.anyone here use the dobby? Yea would be great ty.

Top, Dreamwood Double Punch, essentially a Dobby modified to convert to a Punch with a bent stem in the plugged hole on top. Below, OWW v3 Micro (I believe the v4 is similar in size and shape). The Micro is taller, thicker, but not quite as long. The 'Dobby' is slimmer, shorter, and longer (shown stem not the actual Dobby stem, but about the same length).I always forget the size looks bigger in the pictures anyone here use the dobby? Looks cool, how did you modify it?
I dont use direct butane vapes anymore but I used this Micro V4 quite a lot both before and after modifying it. It is ridiculously small. I used to carry it in a cigarette box...
I modified the fire intake to fit the ¨titanium heating element¨from Tetra Vaporizers and drilled the extra hole for sitting the tamping tool horizontaly. I also added a homemade wood stem to get rid of breakable partsLooks cool, how did you modify it?
Maybe this would work?Does anyone know of people who make custom smoke/dab trays?
I'm looking to get a nice wooden tray made, that has space for my grider, a rosin jar, dab tool, flower scoop, etc
So if anyone has something like this, I'd love to see it. And if someone knows of people who make such things, let me know please! :-)
Call my high maintenance, but I'm really looking for a custom one, that fits exactly what I need, and is made from some nice exotic woodMaybe this would work?
