Guys, would love to just paste his mail - but he's not responding yet.
Otherwise, when I have a lil time I'll post an extract in my own words later. Think this would be suitable and still correct.
EDIT:
VS made a sample batch with some improvements, front panel is now equipped with battery cap that is threaded and supposed to work very nicely and to be strong.
Most importantly, they have found suppliers for all components of the vaporizer to be ready for bigger scale production. Only one thing has been causing hesitation: the temperature of the wood around the heating element, which is getting hot after extended periods of use, especially if many people use it same time, as it will then stay on for longer times and doesn't have time to cool in between so much. Ville has already given units to his customers for testing purposes. They confirmed that this particular part can get very warm in these situations, but say how much they love the vape and don't want to give it back. Ville adds that the ergonomics are designed in a way the user doensn't actually touch this part of the vape in normal. Though he's about to install a mini fan to keep some airflow between the wood and heating element, to prevent the wood from warming up too much.
He says he might just release the vape and update the design later, since in Finland there's already a big demand for the PP.
I then wrote him about the Zion and RBT since they have all wooden bodies with no heat issues... Maybe to get a hint or just to connect. Also asked, if anyone from FC is involved in testing this. Really do hope for it cause I think I'd be a win-win for all of us. There's a lot of experience and knowledge here and we got notable members who can give precious feedback.
Well so far for now. Gonna keep you guys posted! Have a good one
