Was strolling on FC ( like 45 minutes after asking about winning the lottery in this thread) and a small email notification pops up that said
"Dan Morrison: Toad Lottery WINNER!"

I literally froze for a few seconds! :party::haw::whoa::whoa:
Went to sleep in disbelief and needed some extra old indica to put my head to rest!

This Toad design made me feel nostalgic, so i asked for "Labyrinth" 😅 it was my most beloved, most worn out VHS when I was a child (I was obsessed with the movie, and the soundtrack, and had a childhood crush for David Bowie lol). It's going to be such a special vaporizer to me 💚

The ancient herbal magic toad has arrived! This is the most beautiful object I've ever seen AND the nicest tasting, quickest heating, easiest draw vape I've ever used. Still gotta get used to the heat cycle and the different heaters but so far I am so happy and the wait was well worth it!!

Love seeing more of Dan's work going out but can we talk about stopping getting new toads for a bit so the people who ordered a Nomad in 2021 (and I was the LAST one to pay so there's people who paid even earlier) can start receiving what they paid for. Thanks.

In my position it's $550 spent and all I have to show for it is a photo of a wooden block that has yet be touched for anything other than a picture. I appreciate his hard work but it's been three years of broken promises, inaccurate timelines, delays with no communication, and excuses for why this batch is taking so much longer.

Dan is extremely talented and kind but let's not mistake kindness and willingness for anything more than kindness and willingness. He still has promises to fulfill and he still has to work on communicating better if he's going to make people wait half a decade for his product.

Off my soap box now. Love you, Dan but please focus on the outstanding orders from years ago.

I understand you say that, seeing pics of all those new Toads out in the wild I said to myself ‘those poor guys still waiting for their nomad’. I guess that must be really frustrating, for the less… I do hope all of you waiting for a nomad for which you have paid for a while ago get to put your hands on it, and appreciate it 🤞

Sorry if this is obvious, I only saw one post about this....

Anyone using kief with the Toad? I'm thinking of making a sandwich... little bud, sprinkle of kief, then more bud and heat...

Will the kief mess up anything in the Toad? I guess only the heater is at risk....

I signed up 10/2022, and have not been called yet.

I did win a lottery on my birthday in 2024, what luck, right!

I asked to keep my name on the list, so maybe I'm a year away, lol

Happy to say that my personal Toad has finally arrived: #184.

Works phenomenally with all the stems. Truly a work of art and a testament to how far craftsmanship can go when pushed to the absolute limit.

If you're on the fence about getting one: do it. It's well worth the wait. I was on the list since late 2021 (October or November is when I initially got in contact with Dan) and was able to buy mine in June earlier this year.

Shout out to @Tswoodenart for the incredibly slick custom stems, too. They match the colors in the device damn near perfectly and function exceptionally.

On another note; if anyone wants to sell any of their Dan Morrison devices my inbox is always open and I'm cash ready. Nomads (Both iterations) and heavily painted/detailed art Toads are top priority.
