The color matching of the darker wood to the text/imagery on your toad is perfect! Great choice I think you'll really enjoy them; I certainly have been loving mine.Got my @Tswoodenart stems in! I remember doing the same thing with the glass stem filled with the glass beads, it is harder to know at what temp you are, and when you realize, it is too lateThey cool so efficiently I've combusted twice with them.
I really like the wooden stems when I'm taking little sips and want to focus on flavor.I remember doing the same thing with the glass stem filled with the glass beads, it is harder to know at what temp you are, and when you realize, it is too lateso I switched back to OG pear stem. But it does feel hot at times, so maybe I should give those beads another try !
I use 4-5 beads, it's an interesting in-between.I remember doing the same thing with the glass stem filled with the glass beads, it is harder to know at what temp you are, and when you realize, it is too lateso I switched back to OG pear stem. Just a screen inside the stem, or some cooling balls too?
It’s somewhere in between. I’ll get a new pic of it outside in natural lighting.Very nice Toad!
But i'm amazed at how different it looks from Dan's photograph. You say it's more green in real life but on Dan's pic it looks more grey...
Is the color on his picture closer to reality?
That’s good to know bro, I ordered both high and low hahaWhat up Toad fam! So I've been switching it up between the low & high heaters a lot lately. And having some science fun getting them really dialed in. For a while I only used the high heater because I felt the low just didn't do it for me...I was wrong! I'm really liking the low heater more than the high now. The low temp flavor is amazing and can get it to hit hard enough if need be. Plus I feel it is more forgiving.
What's your all favorite? Peace!
what did you change using the low that you weren't doing before? What up Toad fam! So I've been switching it up between the low & high heaters a lot lately. Just wasn't using it because when I first got them the high heater was a lot easier for myself to "get going". I did combust a few times till I got it down but then after that just stuck with it. With trying the low at first I wasn't getting satisfying results and thought it was underwhelming....Than I realized I just needed to spend some time with it! And glad I did!what did you change using the low that you weren't doing before?
Low and slow…for smoking my bbq and vaping my herbI tend to prefer the low heater, seems to me that the slower heating helps for flavor.
How well does it work with those dosing caps? Does it add any conduction to the vape experience. Big fan of dosing caps on my FW, Venty and MightysHello, Toad fam!
Got finally my hands on my little green boy and rn I am rocking it like this and getting wonderful results with higher heater. Just have to work on my technique, to avoid any possible charring, since I am new to unregulated devices. Just wanted to share this hoping it could be useful for anybody interested in capsules. This specifically is dosing capsule for Fury Edge, Fenix Mini etc.
I have the high heater and with the glass balls stem maybe I'm being too conservative, but I've yet to combust. They cool pretty well for their size.Just wasn't using it because when I first got them the high heater was a lot easier for myself to "get going". So I guess the change was giving it (and myself) some time with it.
Really I haven't combusted in quite a while. That was happening in the beginning when I was getting used to it. But will still push the high heater to a very dark avb. Lots of cloud but not much flavor like the low.I have the high heater and with the glass balls stem maybe I'm being too conservative, but I've yet to combust. They cool pretty well for their size.
How long would you have to hold the power button to combust?
See I've got the experience of my high heater like you sort of describe your low. I'm struggling to get the abv even chocolate brown, but the flavor isn't totally gone either.Really I haven't combusted in quite a while. I also use a glass stem with balls/pearls. I have a couple from High Artisan and love them!
