T2 US shipping update

I currently have a few parcels en route to the US with different couriers to test what happens. I’m still waiting for them to arrive, so the newsletter announcement will be delayed by a couple of days to allow me to assess the situation more thoroughly. It's very likely that there is a working solution that I can't announce

I will do EVERYTHING I can to ship the parcels with zero or minimal tariffs as soon as possible. The longer the wait, the more free goodies you can expect with your order.

The second batch of full titanium stock is expected to arrive around May 16. Once it does, I’ll begin packing all US orders so they can ship as soon as a solution is in place or there is a change with the tariffs.

By default, all US orders are on hold, so you don’t need to contact me unless you wish to cancel your order. To cancel, please use the contact form and select "Cancel Order." Note that refunded full titanium Tempests cannot be reserved until the situation is resolved and repurchased.
Was just wondering about this this morning, but then I thought, you know what, if you haven’t heard anything, brenyo’s probably got the situation in hand.

Thanks for doing your best with this awful situation! The communication is super helpful.

Thanks for your update for US customers. I’ve been excited for months, and it’s been a whirlwind of emotions since I got my preorder in, but I can’t wait to receive it! Was a customer before and will continue to be in the future!

Stationary momentum!
I'm going to share some of my thoughts on it at some point, but at the moment there's only one thing I really don't like, the green indicator....
For whatever reason, if I'm at home, under our normal lights, I just can't see it, that and it's absolutely pulling the the strings of my OCD 🤣
My assumption is that green is the end point colour from anodizing. If that's true, would you not be able to take that thin oxide layer off with a gentle abrasive to leave a raw Ti finish? (and more to the point, would that help visibility?)

I think I saw elsewhere in this thread someone who already anodized their tempest 2. I think they mentioned that an etching solution would reverse the order of the colors. so if green is at the end you should technically be able to drop it in an etching solution and it will reverse through the colors and you take it out when its the color you want?

edit: you are right that green is at the end, here is someone who actually anodized different bars of ti at different voltages so you can see the colors:

I can but it'll need to wait, I'll need to do it properly or that'll annoy me even more.
Green is indeed the last colour.
Also seems to be worse in my living room than other rooms, it has an old fluorescent light that I haven't changed yet.
I thought plain and gold were the most visible. I never tried green though, or the lighter shade of purple before green.

@Fearless Disaster it doesn't quite work like that unfortunately, it only works one way.
You can see the colours come away in a fashion, but not in the same way it goes on.

I'll try and do a video at some point, to show what I mean.

I at least did a video of the T2 mouthpiece being done, but it only cycles through one colour before landing on purple so you don't really see much.
I normally put photos up with ibb, I think a 2 minute hd video might might too much for here.

Did something similar with some titanium bolts, going clockwise from 12 o'clock, you end up at green, the colours aren't particularly great in this photo.
