I imagine it would be prohibitively expensive due to the raw dimensions. Probably $500+ ea for gr5?id be worried the aluminum heatshield will scratch up a lot. my raw Ti V1 shows some wear and im familiar with beating up both these materials from other hobbies.

Don’t know if someone said this already but one huge benefit I can think of is you can drop the whole damn thing in a ultrasonic cleaner whereas if you did that with the aluminum, I believe it would damage it right?I have read a few times now that the titanium heat shield doesn't have any practical effect outside of adding weight and cost to the tempest. I bought one anyway because I just like nice machining and can appreciate it even more with something like titanium. I just had one question about it though. Is it actually true that there's literally no benefit to it? I saw Brenyo say in a response on here that the titanium sleeve will basically never get hot. Would that be slightly different compared to the aluminum heat shield? I'm wondering if the full titanium version maybe does actually have one advantage, albeit a small one, in that it may be better for back to back to back bowls and heavy use? I'm not sure if this is an accurate way to think about it or not though

Unfortunately, for it to be worth it, I have to order thousands of them, and I don't think I could sell that many of them with the added weight. I would personally prefer a titanium version![]()

Definitely keep us updated, but still, I’d prefer something made specifically for the tempest like how the reload is.Vestratto have announced a stainless stash that is a similar concept to the reload. I’ve got one on order so will see if it can replace the reload.

Just having a closer look at the pics of it now and it won’t work for the tempest. It has a raised hex bit in the middle of the magnet that I hadn’t noticed initially, so will only work with vestratto devices unfortunately.Definitely keep us updated, but still, I’d prefer something made specifically for the tempest like how the reload is.
