Probably best not to, as you'll be abrading the outer surface. How much that would change their behaviour is hard to say, but it seems rather an aggressive way to clean them, not to mention how hard it's going to be to firmly hold each one in turn as you polish away! 😁
I'm pretty sure baking soda can't abrade zirconia. Quite the contrary actually...

appreciate the comment def gonna just iso wash the balls regularly then haha it isn't really a big deal that the balls discolor since they are hidden was just curious if it would work but def don't wanna ruin the coating haha

edit: my plan was going to put some of the watery baking soda paste in a small container with the balls and shake it around haha. i would never have the patience to polish each ball lmfao

ljstavy,
Is there a general consensus on whether a dual or triple torch with the same butane tank size will tickle more bowls out of the Tempest?

Hey, I'm no expert, it may be some materials used are hard enough that they wouldn't suffer, but considering the ease of using a jet lighter, and hell, even a slight deposit left isn't likely to be disastrous, it seems not the best way. Also, if it did abrade the surface you'll end up with microscopic peaks and troughs on the surface of the material. This can cause uneven heat distribution as the heat tends to collect in the peaks (the edges if you will) and I don't know if that would make it worse next time, get dirtier quicker?

VHB 3D: As there is an online manual, to fire TheWand for 280°C / 525°F, which counts seconds.
Do you know the corresponding time for the VHB 3D? I would really appreciate it if you could indicate the necessary heating time or the color of the light blinking, which changes every few seconds.

I'll count the seconds later. Remove the black rubber thing completely and push the inlay all the way down. Usually going 1-2 seconds after the second click

Thanks. I think I have the new glass bowl, with slower click that makes the rubber plug obsolete, that stucks inside the IH. I also have the old one that I don't use, but I would appreciate your counting. With the Wand however, I wait maybe 30 seconds after the second click, the recommended time to elapse.

Picked up this vaphit x stem the other week.
It has glass beads inside to try and cool things down, also has a little star shaped ruby at the front so the vapor path/airflow doesn't get clogged.
It's ok, doesn't cool anywhere near as much as the native stem does, but it does cool things a little, I can't do as many back to back bowls with it.
It's handy for when my stems are soaking.

It's heavy, satisfyingly heavy... In fact as much as I really prefer lighter stems, the weight of it is my favourite thing.
Weight comes in at 86.56g, while the native tempest is 33.47g.

Got it direct so it was only about £17 Inc postage, for the price it's quite good I think

Injured wrist playing badminton, but still can manoeuvre this thing. Added deblower back to Reload... Wand gonna be put to test these days, to ease the pain :D

Just a comment on comparing click timings - every Tempest can have it's own unique timing on when the clicks occur, and even that can change over time, especially first few weeks depending on usage. I'd guess most of them will be close-ish, but definitely not all the same.

I'd calibrate the click timing by the results rather than by how it works for someone else.
Although I guess it gives a starting point to work from, so maybe I'm just an annoying argumentative hair splitting tit? 😎

Just spent the last quarter of an hour searching the MH website for the deblower option for the reload! 🤣🤣🤣 (doh!)

If you are UK vapsonvaps.com sell them. You can also get the stem with a tip an quartz cap for £30

It has to be the best value herbal vape, and it's actually good.

I have one of vaphit quartz convection vapes, and it's a solid little vape. It definitely compares favourably to a Dynavap

Its not seen a lot use since I got my Tempest, but that's true of all my vapes 😬

My device has never clicked twice, the temperature indicator works correctly and I have perfect results every time even based on the only click or on the time out of the wand. I don't understand though why it doesn't make the second click and how to fix it. Even if I don't think it's necessary to intervene, what's the purpose of the two clicks?
