So here's my new ghetto rig, with a little less ghetto...
The base is three pieces of wood from the craft store for a total of $4.27 plus tax.
Then put whatever piece of glass you want on there, held down by four screws and elastic bands or hair ties.
The larger wooden flower pot holds the atomizer and Apollo upright when heating, and the atomizer upright for easy loading.
And here is the whole system at rest with the Apollo in the smaller wooden flower pot.
It's a tight little setup with a small footprint (base is 7" square). The flower pots hold the units tightly (although my atomizer is always in the 18mm to 18mm extender, so something different would be needed for someone who heats it up outside of an extender/reducer/expander. I like having it in this glass all the time so the teflon never expands tightly against the CloudBuddy or down stem. It's small enough to pick up and hold while hitting, but just stable enough to hold everything steady. It would be best with a piece of glass with a 90 degree angle (upright), as the whole base tips over when I have the entire Sub loaded into the CloudBuddy into the down stem.
Last maneuver is to decide where to tie down the plug cord.
