You got it! Just PM @Pipes and he will get you sorted! You're embarking on a fun adventure!
What a beauty! I love cork instead of silicone for this application!!!I never forgot your recommendation @natural farmer and you was right
the Eraserair works very, very nice. Can become quite hot in a tight session if compared with the long one I was using but the extraction is a lot simpler. Loving it... and loving the Eraser again. Not my anytime partner now, but always a really good lover.
Hi Folks, yesterday I removed my Project from my Evic mini to use another atty and when I screwed the Project back it does not read anymore the same resistance, not a huge difference since it was 0.61 and now 0.57 but difference in performances are crazy: no glow (even faint) at 600°F using 135 TCR and 25W (previously it was working very well at 470°F).
Did I to increase the TCR to match the new resistance... I will be pleased to get some explanations..., please?
Thanks for the thorough response. Thats the reason I didn't use the kapton tape in the first place, but I wanted to make sure.Lol no, kapton/polyimide tape stinks! It's the bane of most Chinese vapes and why we need to do so many burn-offs!
The OG project has a wood sleeve around the SS tube. There's a small air gap and the sleeve is held by the bottom o-ring inside the sleeve.
I had no problem using cork in direct contact with the SS tube. @ander could comment also. I don't know how @phattpiggie's experience ended but I think he's also having direct contact with wood without air insulation.
I'd say give it a try without. At worth it will dry and maybe char the wood slightly but as long as it's not in the air/vapor path...
Interesting build indeed. Can you please show it disassembled @Wreckanism ? Is the heater in glass capsule ?Hey WOW that's a very interesting build! So the herb bowl isn't in direct contact with cork here... About the last image: why the herb is inside the cork..? More details please..!
Oh yes, visually inside the cork sleeve... but I see what I use as herb chamber on the table so...Interesting build indeed. Can you please show it disassembled @Wreckanism ? Is the heater in glass capsule ?
@ander I think it is still in the metal stem, the cork is just the cover of the stem ?
THANK YOU PIPES for the parts!

This is my current setup, im still looking for a better atomizer cover
You can take a look on @KeroZen work here, and on my drilling set here. How did you hollow out the cork?
Was gonna try and make a wooden outer to replace the glass on the shitfucker, but actually i think have a better idea.
What if you take the shitfucker as it is with all the glass and put a wooden sleve around it? You could epoxy the wood to the glass at the top by the lip.
This is exactly how the glass fits in the Milaana to enclose the heater. Would avoid burning hands and possible breakages. Also it would keep the 14mm female at the top avoiding sealing issues on previous wooden projects.
You would end up with something looking a lot like a splinter.
Do u think it would work?
