Probably much less likely the cute and friendly lady bug or beetle we all know and love, Coccinellidae, and more likely the even more voracious and quite nasty version, the Asian lady beetle, Harmonia axyridis:
My buddy said she saw one of these the other night right by the very same light. She said it was as big as a small bird! (Yes, believe it or not, I actually do have some real friends):
