NYC field trip with my honey yesterday, under a cloudless sky.

The Carrier Intrepid is dwarfed by cruise ship Norwegian Joy.
Took this while driving up the West Side Highway.
Stealth bomber is visible on aft of the carrier


This edifice was not dwarfed.
3rd tallest in NYC, 30 Hudson Yards.


We were actually downtown (Meat Packing District!) to visit these beautiful creatures, about a hundred in all. See how long the line of elephants is?

Made in India and currently on tour, each one is named and modelled after a real world elephant.


Oh, and some rock & roll dolphins up on the High Line.


I gotta shout out just what a friendly place NYC is. A woman asked me to take a picture of her and her mom, handing me her phone that was also her wallet, with literally cash and credit cards bulging out of it. We joked about it, moved on...

Hey Viking ...

... must have both been in on a NYC FCombustion field trip ... I took my wife yesterday as shes been dying to see those elephants ... lunch at LouLou's on 8th Ave, then down to see the elephants, over to Little Island, and then Hi Lined it back up to midtown ... great day but my feet are a bit sore 🙃

Sweet planes on the deck! I am a total geek.
I do believe that is a Blackbird SR-71 on the deck, the Stealth Bomber was a Northrop B-2.

Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
I drove 80 miles to take my kayak to a beautiful clear lake a couple days ago. This paddle was amazingly beautiful, due to the amazingly clear blue water. I stayed on the water over six hours, and had my fly fishing gear, but I didn't even bother breaking any of it out because I was just enjoying the beauty of the place so much.
