In 1943, the Nazis hung 17-year-old Yugoslav communist resistance fighter, Lepa Radić.
In her final moments, the fascists called Lepa a traitor and asked her to give up the names of her fellow partisans. She replied with her final words,
"I am not a traitor to my People. You'll discover my comrades in your final moments when they kill all of you evil-doers. Long live the communist party and the partisans. Fight, my People, for your freedom, don’t give yourselves up into the hands of these villains."
There is a modern attempt in some circles to characterize the Nazis, not as fascists, but rather as communists/leftists. This is particularly disgusting historical revisionism. Because no one fought the Nazis harder than leftists like this brave young lady.
