My 8 vaporizer short tube with 1=18350 battery won't fire my kiss AC 3.7v? Kiss AC 7.4v with long tube works perfectly. Do I need to use the circuit board for the short tube?
Still won't fire
You just need an AW 18650. You can adjust the spring on the 8 long tube to accommodate either 2x18350 or 1x18650.Don't I need the SS kit tube for the 18650 battery?
I am going to try the 7.4v donut tonight alsoPackage arrived. Can't wait to spend some time with the 7.4v donut and give feedback.
@THC SCIENTIFIC what is the recommended range for operation of the 7.4v KISS Alpha Centauri 1701?
Yeah, I loved the 3.7 donut @ 4.8 until I murdered it (manslaughter? Techslauter? I swear it was an accident!). I had been trying it @ spots between 3.7v and 4.2 and just hated using the wick. I couldn't find a setting I thought was worth a damn. As soon as G posted the comment that up to 5v could be put through it without incident, I set it to just below his max recommendation and had a blast. Thus, I'm waiting in anticipation for @THC SCIENTIFIC to post this donut's operating range as well, in hopes of avoiding both breaking the donut messing around w/ higher voltage as well as lackluster vapor production from too low of voltage input (aka Splattertown, USA).@ragnorokk I have been using my 7.4v Donut with 2 aw imr 18350s. You are using The Core? On fully charged batteries it hits hard with flavor. I'm not riding the button just extended presses. If you dal it down a bit you may be able to get setting where you can just ride the button. I wouldn't venture much above 7.4v without @THC SCIENTIFIC or @SamuraiSam's .

My 8 is having problem after a day. When I push the button it doesn't fire with 2=18350 battery? When I press it the second time it works then third time it doesn't?
How do I do that? I have to do this after 1 day of use?
The 8 can be touchy. You'll have to have SamuraiSam do a video chat with you to get everything set up -- he does an awesome job pointing out what should go where and making sure everything is set up right. My 8 is having problem after a day. whats the safe range for the 7.4, though? And if we're using the ceramic wick, we should stay in battery voltage range?the donuts safe range is 3.0v - 4.2v, even then you have to learn to pulse the button on the top range. If not using the black ceramic, you can go up to 4.8v but pulsing the button starts as higher to go.
You have to re-seat the pins and adjust the button pin.
How do I do that? I have to do this after 1 day of use?
gotcha. At 4.8, I was definitely pulsing and got amazing results; instacloud. I think what killed it was that I had my core set for herc and thought it was set for the 1701.@ragnorokk
1701 best range is 3.0v - 4.2v with the occasional pulsing of the button on the higher end, when moving away from this range and into the 4.3-5.0v range then pulsing the button comes regular.

I tried the 3rg gen dual coil KISS cart tonight @7.4v; Awesome. Back to the KISS mentality w/ the simpler design. Very tiny profile. It's thinner than my Omicron... does it match some other w9 product?
Just curious if it is the same outer diameter as one of the non Persei/omicron units (minicron, etc). What do you mean match other w9 products?
Yes the kiss Gen 3 is the same diameter as the Minicron and Ophos, which is 14 mmJust curious if it is the same outer diameter as one of the non Persei/omicron units (minicron, etc).
