So tempted buy a couple of the chrome v2 but man I dislike chrome idk why
Yep, me too. I got the chrome v2 and the AC works great on it. But I think there may be something wrong with my v4 top. I still cannot get it to work in 7.4v mode with the AC (both the single and dual coil). Tried with two pair of freshly charged AW IMR batteries (and one pair is brand new). I keep getting the three blinking red lights. Same batteries work great with the chrome v2 top.

I'm using my chrome v2 top for my experiments as well, if that makes a difference.

I can't help but notice you've been waiting for a craaazy expensive LayG setup.
It's definitely not the best case scenario, but at least for the price of the AC, you could get one of those older tops upgraded and rock out with a killrar Persei/AC combo by next week.
You dislike it so much that $20 seems unreasonable? I hate anodized colors, but if they were offering the color v3's on the website for $20, Id grab a possibly unreliable top and a hideous color monstrosity. I mean... $20 is pretty cheap... So cheap it mashes all the impulse buy buttons in my brain.

No I don't dislike chrome enough not to buy I just picked up a chrome hammer top and I'm sure I'll be adding at least 2 of the chrome v2's in the near future as backups

Got home to double check my single coil. Reads 9.9 ohms on the iris. So it's a bad coil.

I was pretty excited to finally have a body for my hammer top, since chrome models are out of production. I'm impressed by the solid feeling of the v2 in chrome. Feels like it could double as a weapon, lol. The button on my v2 top is ridiculously recessed, but if I use my index finger instead of thumb, I have a grand old time. I understand not loving chrome, since shiny is the exact opposite of low pro, but at $20 it's tough to complain.
On that note, my v2 has a weird seam on the inside of the tube that appears to be a crack, but the body has no indication of crack or imminent failure on the outside, so Im just using it while waiting for my collection of serviced w9 items to return. I might just gift it to a homie to get them into w9 products, since the globe, atomizers, KISS carts, and omicron I've spread around seem to do an awesome job of converting people.

I am happy to report that I finally received my Kiss Alpha C, there were only 1 or 2 small shavings that needed to be discarded, other than that PERFECT. Thanks again for all your hard work, G!

I am running a brand new V2 persei i got a week and a bit ago, does this mean that my persei wont be able to handle the alpha?
it can handle the Alpha it just doesnt have the protections needed like the v4 has.

Got my AC today. Running it on a cheap X6 vv battery and everything works great. Flawlessly in fact. Quality product.
This is my first experience with the ceramic heater and I'm loving it. This is what I've been looking for.
I like my okeanos but id like a more substantial bubbler to use with the AC. Are there any that work with the AC coils?

@SamuraiSam received my replacement top and my old herc insulator back today. However, the 4 AW batteries, KISS cart and the 10 PTFE insulators were not included with the order.

The Nibbler XL for the Herc is just a little bit too big for the Kiss AC unfortunately. With some rubber bands I was able to rig it up to mostly work. So it looks like we'll need a custom AC Nibbler.
