The bender is designed for herbs...with the Hercules sr74 it was more of an after thought...it'll work but not great and I wouldn't recommend the herc as your only herb option...
I would definitely recommend the hammer top for the bender, but I think you may be confused. The hammer top is not a vaporizer or power supply it is only a top for the Persei that has an on/of feature so you don't have to hold the button the whole time... So you will need both the hammer top and a Persei for the bender

If I understand the way that it works, the Hammer Top will be direct attached to the batterie body, if I have a batterie tube for 2 x 18350 Batteries, it would work without the need of buying a Persei.

Yes. They sell an ss kit for persei (battery tube). That + herc + hammer + batteries + charger = good to go

Persei currently comes with a titanium kiss cart not the original EO carts. I do think the EO carts have their uses still though! From fairly recently:
I have 2 hercs and I still have love for the EO cart!! Just picked up a 5 pack of the 2.4Ω and am trying out the SS kit on the double top.

Unfortunately, I dont know where you are going to get the "battery body" to fit 2x 18350s without buying the Persei, which comes with an adjustable battery tube with a threaded negative battery terminal. The SS kits are for stealth use of a single battery at a time.

My ss kit came with two tubes. One I use for 2 batteries. Maybe you're missing that tube? @SamuraiSam

The longer tube in the SS kit is intended only for 1x18650 battery. However, like yourself, I use the longer tube for 2x18350s...the battery spring may not like it too much, as it is more compressed.

Hi THC Scientific, I opened a support ticket on your website cause I don't receive yet my Core+ 4xAW imr batterries, it was shipped the 11 of august, leaves usa the 14 of august and no news since!
I can't follow the package since it is in my country, I tried the tracking number on my home country post website but it don't find it...
I'm starting to be worry cause you tolds us we must to be at home to receive it but if i don't know when I might be difficult...

Thanks. What about the V1 persei kits? Come with the EO carts? I have one of them in red from W9 on ebay on its way.
I already have a black persei and the shorter body battery to clean out and eventually send in for warranty replacement. Fried a top in the persei and now it stinks like shit lol.
Already been answered but I'll answer again anyway in case you missed it... The Persei is the battery body...it comes with a regular top you have to hold to power...that's annoying for herbs which is where the hammer top comes in. It is just a different top to swap out with the original top that it came with and has a locking on/off feature... You will not be able to just buy a hammer top and batteries and be good to go... Because you still have no battery tube... The bender only works at 7.4 V so you need two AW imr batteries which neither of the SS tubes can handle stacked...
If you want to do herbs with w9 gear you will need a Persei and a bender...the hammer top is optional but recommended

The longer tube is meant to use a single 18650. If you cram 2x 18350s in there and have a short or battery failure, the battery spring which is now overcompressed will not be able to act as a safety fuse and "open" the circuit. I personally highly recommend you stop using the SS tube for 7.4V because of the potential safety hazard of what you're doing.
the really really old carts don't taste as nice as the newer carts that have red "Caution Hot" printed opposite the resistance printed in black. The last V1 persei kit I picked up I just threw the included carts out rather than fill them with expensive oil.

Thanks, I'm really impatient to vape again with my sr-74, just before my batteries die I loaded it with a very nice very clear shatter from White widows, it's yet in awaiting the power to vape it!

@ Darkrom I've been using the EO Carts since I purchased my 1st W9 vape almost 2 yrs ago & I love them!
I've been using these along with Asst Kiss carts/globes almost exclusively since purchasing the Hercules SR-71 when it was 1st released because the medication here is pretty expensive & I get very good results using the EO Carts & they're cost effective & I can get many hits of medicine they're very efficient!
I've been using 1.5, 2.4 & 5 Ohm carts.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Hercules, once I got it down & still learning , it's an awesome pc. of medical equipment! But as I said meds here $$ & Hercules loves to "EAT" lol
So I've only run a few grams thru it, still like new. Until I can produce my own oil, I'm holding off using it, just a vac chamber to go & I'll have plenty of medicine to run thru it! Got my material ready!
I also Love my Bender, trying to combust less,l switched to e-juice & e-ciggs from real ciggs 5 months ago , been waiting on Gary to Create the desktop to make my first plug in herb or all in one purchase. Lol, but seriously waiting, cuz I've enjoyed all my W9 Gear & I got alot,
He is definitely an innovater & builds quality & stands behind it.

I do hammer + herc + core as a desktop home rig. Love it. I've never done the bender, I'd love to try it though. I already own and love an herbalAire so I can't justify spending that much.

Here is how I clean mine... Note I have only had mine a month or so, using the 3.7v version and I've been using both of the supplied atomizers taking turns. Both have been through this procedure twice so far and still working, YMMV.
Step one: unscrew the atomizer (part with ceramic bowl and wick) from the base (part with the 2 red o-rings).
Step two: drop the atomizer in 99% iso.
Step three: wait 24 to 48 hours (make sure you use enough iso).
Step four: remove from iso and air dry for 3 to 5 days. Use the other atomizer during this time.
Step five: re-attach to base, put on battery without the globe and dry burn the wick for 2 heating cycles of the persei (Ie. hold the button until it times out then repeat). Note many (even G himself) will tell you not to dry burn the kiss carts. I have been doing it with Kiss carts since I started using them last year. I have 3 other than the globe (all 3.7v) and all are still working after the procedure above. My oldest kiss carts have been through that cleaning a couple of dozen times and still kicking but YMMV.
