I use to use this stuff alot!
I burnt myself dabbing with my torch.
Pissed me off.
It's like driving a PINTO when I have a luxury car?
My lights are flashing?
I got a new charger.
However my batteries may be fried?
My goal is to get my W9 Tech stuff working again in rotation. (I'll try)

I read the charger manual now!
Do you have a meter? Does it work with a KISS cart? When my stock (not AW) batteries are discharged the top will blink or it will light then rapidly fade if the batteries are really dead.

I wouldn't call it user error especially since I watch the video more like a lack of information from the company
I would say im pretty experienced with the persei but all this info that I didn't have is what lead to my user error if that makes any sense
I under stand what happened and I am all for innovation and that's the name of the game I get an iphone next year a better one comes out I under stand this and appreciate it but I didn't even know what I had was outdated I didn't know there was a difference between two
but from my side I purchased everything while they appeared to be compatible as shown on the website they only are if you do this and buy that well how is anyone suppose to know that
I would have bought the tester no problem if I had known I needed it
and I wouldn't have bought the Hercules if I knew I had an older persei
infact I bought the sr74 because I heard there was less user error
for example I watched garys video everytime before assembling it and it even says "if you want to if you happen to pick up a tester in the future" by that statement I assumed it wasn't needed but it was in my case and this information is no where to be found so how is even an experienced user suppose to operate this correctly

The KISS cart worked for a rip. Then the head started flashing? I changed batteries and they flash as well?
Should I just buy some new batteries?
I guess I can keep dabbing until I get this all sorted out.
I can't even use my BENDER with the weather so perfect!
My SR74 I haven't even tried it yet!
I had two awesome years until I ran into this road block!

What no Core! Could be the batteries. Charge them and try again or try a different set.

Sometimes I have to hold the button down and screw the cart on with the button depressed to get it to work. @Caligula is probably right. You may have screwed the cart too tight and cracked or chipped the white insulator on the top.
I found some really tiny O-rings I put on my carts so I don't over tighten them.
They work like a champ and keep you from over tightening any of the carts (make sure they're hi-temp)

I found a place where I can get a new persei really cheap so instead of the warranty I think im gonna upgrade to a whole new unit iv always wanted black anyways ..
so I was thinking are there any chances my Hercules is screwed up after what happened to the head.
i don't want to buy a new persei then turns out my herc is messed up also anyway i can test it without a head?
i have a multimeter
should i buy one of those voltage and ohm testers is it necessary now that i will have a head with short circuit protection

the hercules pretty much cant be bad aside from being put together wrong
the fact that the core comes with a plug for like car cigarette lighters and such just makes it even more worth it, you really ONLY need batteries for like...between places or if you're primitive camping, otherwise you probably have somewhere you can plug it in available. if you get a pelican 1150 or larger you can fit at a minimum the core, herc, nibbler xp, persei, some oil, and a bottle of water to fill the nibbler (like 6-10ml per fil)

cool if this is the case Im gonna go ahead and purchase a new one tonight hopefully its as easy as screwing in my herc since I have everything already
also was going to ask how good of a combination is the core and the herc
I would primarily be using it in the car as I use glass inside but how friendly is this?
with the wires how easy is it to set down I also assume I cant stand it upright in between my legs to keep it vertical either with the cord coming from the base
I was seriously considering buying one but I almost never run to a dead battery is this just overkill?
if im using a 7.4 herc can I set the core to 3.7

I am not sure of the size.
I had my local hardware store order in heat resistant O-rings in all the sizes he could.
Most of them were SOLO size or small.
I brought the cart and bought a few that fit.
I will find out the size for you though my friend.

What it's doing is discharging my batteries then recharging them. There coming back from the dead!

Yessir, it has power attachments for the persei as well as the omicron
even has a USB port on the front as well (is this variable voltage? can i charge my phone on it?)
