I think not. The Triton is to be an upgrade for the Okeanos. A ceramic heater with no wire coil.

Since the 8 tops will work on Persei tubes, I would guess that Persei tops would work on 8 tubes. I sure hope so!
All parts of the 8 that are not included in the current Top pre-order will be available for purchase at a later date. Dunno if that'll be a pre-order or just a regular sale, before or when the 8 is made available.

This IS my happy face..
My Persei is experiencing the blinking light syndrome. Thought the batteries were low and replaced them, still the same.....Switched to 3.7 mode, same thing. Now I have a shatter filled SR74 and no way to medicate...I have already opened a ticket...Is there any way to "fix" the blinking without sending it back to the Mothership ?? HELP!!!!

Do you have a multimeter (DVOM)? Put it in the resistance, Ω mode and touch one lead to the threads and the other lead to the center post. Let us know what it is!

Tried it with the Herc SR74 and a Kiss cart., same result. Don't have a DVOM handy. I took the rod (7.4 white) out and cleaned the contacts.. Cleaned the lower spring button and housing and all the threads and the upper housing. Reassembled as per G's online video...No oil leaked into the lower section when it was working. The button flashes when depressed even when there is nothing attached( 7.4 & 3.7). Even tried a known working Dabbler cart, still blinking..
The body parts will come later once we fulfill our promise to the FC members that have supported us.

To me, if I was going to order a bunch of preorders I would do it separately. Cause if one of those preorders has a delay you'll have to wait until everything is ready to get your orderI'm always wondering something with this company.

Yeah I guess you're right, but it would feel soo christmaslike to sign for that package with an okeanos.. then a bender, a new hammer and a new e-nail, all at the same time! The three are going to go together so well; especially at parties and shit
With the okeanos, the triton and the bender, I might not even use my herc.
Last night, I got one of the 1.0 ohm e-juice carts, an ss kit, some new batteries, a black rod for myherc, a hammer top... and I pre-ordered the 8, and the herc upgrade seperately. Cus I'm definitely not trying to wait until 8/8/14 until I can use my persei again. I need that hammer top.
But I suppose I would be pretty bummed if I am reading about everyone loving their new mechanical mod, and I'm stuck in the dust because the herc upgrade is back ordered and I wanted to save a couple bucks on shipping.
But I don't think they will be back ordered. At least I hope not.

I guess I'm just gonna order an Okeanos and find out!I'm going to sell the Hercules. Even if the Triton is LAYG, I think it will be better for me. I am ripping through oil on the Herc faster than my brain can keep up with.
I loaded up the Kiss cart with about twice the amount I normally would last night, and it really did the trick. I was very pleased. The taste definitely wasn't anything near the Herc though.
