How many seconds of button pressing does it take for it to glow?
This means you have to oil back on the ceramic. So that the coil does not glow.
This is different for everyone this means you have to keep the coil soaked at all times.
Any non Okeanos kiss cart.....no real issue. The Okeanos carts seem to die with little to minimal use. I have a standard 3.7v that has been kicking forever, but my Ok to died within 10 uses or less. It would seem that others are having the same issue. The simple fact that it dies so quickly has turned me off. Add to that the constant reloading and cleaning of threads, and for me, they are frustrating. Handy but frustrating. I am just a reliability guy I guess, and unlike the Hercules, they don't have it.
The design , is awesome, the parts are sound, just the wire heater is inferior to ceramic. I would rather pay more up front...and have it last forever(or close to...See Hercules)....than load a nice dab and not be able to hit it cuz a wire fried. Highly frustrating to me.

FWIW, the last time I cleaned my kiss cart, I used a tiny toothpick to scrape out a little goop of errl, then I ignited that sucker 10 sec on 10 sec off, till white again. During that time it glowed quite a bit. But it is still working very well. I did not know you weren't suppossed to do that. I really never try to "live on the edge" when it comes to vaporizer care and operation. Looks like I lucked out for once!

The manufacturing process is brand new for the Ti Kiss carts as we move forward our assembly line will have a better experience with it and we are taking note on whats going on.
But please understand the there are people who use the Ti kiss cart on other units who happen to be variable voltage and burn it out and complain here. Not saying you are one as i know your using your Persei but people arnt always honest.
This is why we cant warranty these cartridges.
Hell take the sr71 and run it on any vape it will damage the vape before it damages anything inside. That is why it has a warranty.
The SR74 same thing none of the spring loaded parts are warrantied because i know some people will take a black rod and stick it on a 5v battery. Then come here complain about how their Herc died and it only lasted 10 minutes.
@Silver420Surfer yes that video has been taken down because the Ti kiss carts last longer when it does not glow.

did anyone else switch to a ti coil in their sr71?
i'm having some trouble getting very hard oils to flow that worked well with the old coil. It starts to get that burn taste (needs to be fed) but there is still plenty in there. with a skinny gap between the rod and the coil.
i plan to take the ti coil out and squash it flatter so that the inside of the hole makes contact with the rod.

I have noticed that the TI coils take over twice as long to warm up as the steel version. I thought it was a problem with my build at first.
The burnt tast is from oil very close to the rod, which gets scorched before the coils warm up enough for the hash to melt and run towards the center, where it is vaporized.
I tried to wedge the coil in, but it didn't make any difference. I just had to suck it up and amend my technique. Now I give the unit a good long warmup while taking only enough small puffs to keep that scorch from occurring until the chamber is hot and begins to create significant vapor.
Edit: I also notice that the TI coil sucks up a significant amount of oil before it is primed compared to the Stainless steel version.
@THC SCIENTIFIC G I think I have an idea for your next KISS cart which more closely aligns with the philosophy of the Herc. No wire heating element, no more scraping the bottom. Ceramics are the future. Pics coming soon.

My Persei/ Herc SR-71 has just been cleared for takeoff and the skies are definitely mouthafuckin CLOUDY! My pilot and co-pilot are Diesel Kush and Cherynobl. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.

In my experience the flashing lights on the charger means the batteries are on the verge of being fully charger. Soon to be steady green.

@THC SCIENTIFIC I meant no disrespect. I find the design awesome (if I didn't tell you I meant to), and I completely understand not warrantying (how the Fuck do you spell that?) them. I am also stoked to hear that you are constantly revamping the design based on feedback. I was just answering Caligula as to my opinion. I still use them, just not in situations that demand reliability (travel) unless backups are handy.

Damn you, USPS. Why must you hate me so? I received a shipping notice for my Okeanos replacement parts from w9 on the 11th. It's now the 14th and I have yet to receive a single tracking update. I have this beautiful piece of machinery in front of me and the USPS seems determined to keep me from enjoying it.

Am I the only one who thinks the Nibbler XL looks like Benders head? My girl and I even refer to it (amongst ourselves and crew) as the bender due to the similarity of the antenna and the mouthpiece. Not saying I don't understand the name.....I do.....The Nibblers are the water line......this is xl to fit herc....I get it. I'm just high and talking here.
