Any suggestions from you on how to prevent clogging or leaking with puregold? The basics as in dont pull hard, dont dry fire, dont leave in direct sunlight or heat, and dont leave cart open end down. Any other suggestions from crowd and crew?

start inhaling before you press the button, and keep inhaling after you let the button go this helps it cool down faster, load .5 at a time and let it cool down about 20-30 seconds between hits.

Is there any way to design a cart that does not have solder or plastic in it? That is my biggest issue with the persei I just bought. I do enjoy it. I get huge rips. I just feel like you need to eliminate the solder and plastic to consider it a medical device. These things are definitely the future. I just want a cleaner version. Thanks

Our carts have laser welds and do not contain any lead in the solder, as for plastic the only things in their are the wires and silicon seals.

The Hercules cartridge will be made from all medical grade parts.

As for the device it can not be considered a medical device because that would be illegal. It is a essential oil vaporizer.

That's a step in the right direction with the laser welds. Solder without lead is better than with lead but has to have something a little sketchy off gassing when it gets hot. Do they make high temperature rated wiring that doesn't off gas anything when below 500 degrees or so? I know silicon is Safe below 500 degrees. I think you guys have a good product and am anxiously awaiting the herc cart. I still think there is plenty of room for improvement with the cart design in terms of maximum safety and off gassing chemical avoidance. I realize we are talking about micro amounts of anything potentially sketchy but still. I'm a health nut...and real paranoid. Lol!

Such alloys, even pure lead, doesn't outgas at these temperatures. Even much hotter, when fully molten, the vapor pressure (evaporation) is trivial. This has been tested to death, old style Linotype Operators (used in printing) would sit in front of several hundred pounds of molten lead, side by side, all day long for many years on end. Some (those who practiced good hygiene) would maintain normal lead levels while others (who weren't good about washing up or smoked on the job) often 'got leaded'.

I don't know how the connections are done in the new carts, but in the existing ones they're on the oil side, they and the wiring never see more than maybe 150F or the oil they're with would 'cook'. They never get remotely close to 400, let alone 500 (nothing does in there). Yes, there are wire insulations to work at those temperature, PTFE not silicone, but they're totally unnecessary.

FYI typical solders melt about 370F, if it got close to 500 it'd fall apart. Many soldering irons run at 600.

When the FDA had issues with ecig's it was not the technology but the liquid inside. We understand about the off gassing but our units do not have any material issues as all parts are safe at the operating temperatures. We are almost done with the final prototypes and after testing the Hercules is going into small production run then full production.

Had the opportunity to try the Hercules cart filled with Gold up at G's on Friday.
Super clean, clear hits, seemed to taste a level of the Gold I hadn't before, very impressive, and if it passes the rigors of G's perfectionism(it seems like it has to me) it will be a game changer.

Also got to try the all glass herb chamber. G can fill in the details but it holds a good size load, I believe it was comparable to a packed Pax chamber(sorry for the reference non-Pax owners, G will give actual measurements). I know we got up around 9-10 cloudy pulls(comparable to the Solo and Pax in vapor production) before G performed the "shake" maneuver.
Once we thought the chamber was spend(may have been around 13 pulls, G can confirm, must say it's sometimes hard to keep track when testing.) we dumped the load preparing to reload and found the ABV in this state:

Forgive the cell photo, but other than a couple of dark spots, the load was at most 60%-70% done.
The load lasts, provides numbers of clean, green draws, battery operated or pass-thru, works on the Persei and Hammer...
...and of course, all glass!

Right?? its funny, portable glass bubbler. those 3 words negate each other. And that is a great perspective added to it. Well, thats why it says "portable" and not "at-home". The at-home version should be reactor-ready.

On a side note This friday the Last prototype of the hercules should be finished and testing starts next week. Also looks like we have the hercules herb capability working with 3.7v but this will be confirmed when we have the sample.
