Hey everyone, does the Okeanos use any kiss cart now? Back when I got mine, they had special kiss carts just for them, but I haven't used it in a while bcuz I was waiting for the upgrade. Now I got my upgrade and realized my kiss cart for it is shot. But I don't see the Okeanos kiss carts on the site anymore. Can any kiss cart work now? Thanks in advance for the help.

Any 3.7 kiss cart will work. As long as it has the bottom suction hole. Where the battery contacts the cart. If it has no hole, it can not be used.

I can't tighten my herc down because everything is strippedI have to take the heat shield off and attach it that way because the bottom adapter is unglued. I ordered a new adapter when I sent in more core but still waiting on it
yup. me too. it sits in the adapter but if i try to over tighten it just starts to slide around. how much did the adapter cost to replace?
i've adjusted the top collar to where it's literally hanging on by a thread. still can't get past a sight warm up.

I guess that's what I was asking but I worded it wrong. Do all the 3.7 volt kiss carts have the air hole in the bottom now so they can be used with the Okeanos? Bcuz there's no option to get the Okeanos version anymore. I just don't want to order the wrong ones. Thanks for your help.

if i recall correctly someone said you can swap out the center pin with the hole in it into any kiss that doesnt have the hole and it should work

When you say okeanos v2 are you talking about an okeanos with the upgrade?
I'm grabbing the upgrade soon, I love mine. My only issue so far is when I tighten the mouthpiece too much and flood my bottom chamber. I always take the bottom cap off now so I don't get the cartridge wet, though now it just falls on my crotch. Facepalm every time I do it.
I'm curious about this too, I know no black wicks though. I really want to get more cartridges with the black wicks.

If you order a Ti kiss cart I think more than likely it will have a bottom hole for okeanos duty. Maybe call w9 just to make sure u get a okeanos compatible kiss cart?
When I say okeanos v2, I mean the latest okeanos from w9. Or a okeanos with v2 upgrade. The latest okeanos has adjustable splash guard and much improved draw resistance. I just purchased my okeanos v2 a few days ago. Mine came with a kiss cart with a black wick! Badass!

I wonder this as well. Maybe in the future this is true since regular wick Ti and original kiss carts are reduced price. If you buy a rebuild kit from w9 it comes with the dark wicks.

So that fits over the regular herc mp snugly? I guess the mp is rounded around there so I could see that working. I use a D020-D bubbler with my herbalAire, I'd love to be able to use it with my herc too. Nibbler xl is also on my wish list, with many other things.....

I'm using the Persei right now with the KISS cartridge and I find that while I get great hits, a significant amount of wax ends up around the edges of the kiss cartridge and underneath the coil.
Is this something that's supposed to happen or am I doing something wrong?

Ok guys i think i found how to resolve the button issue some of you are having for the 8.
As it turns out screwing the piece thats inside the button assembly does not allow both center pins to make a circuit, once i unscrewed it the button travels a little more in but makes full contact.
Please try this as i tried this technique on a few of them and they all fired up really quick.
I had one persistent unit that just was not consistent now its good to go, all i can say is im trying to get to the bottom of this and see why unscrewing the inner piece is solving the issue.

unscrew and remove or just move it back a few threads?
each 8 is different, so start with a 1/8 turn counter clockwise. This is from the screwed in all the way position. Then do another 1/8.
You will find the position that work for you if both center pins are seated correctly.

YYYYYYYEEEEEEESSSSS!!!!!! Finally! Got it going full blast 100% of the time. I removed all 4 o-rings, soaked all the gold pieces in iso, wiped dry, rolled that inner gold screw back a little less than a half turn from snug, and reassembled. Thanks @THC SCIENTIFIC
Find your piece. It's almost there. I've been in the same boat. 200 reassembles adjusting every little thing. try what i did. i think we got the exact same specs. just fired the herc for the first time.
I'm sure it'll be like 2 months until I get another spring. I ordered a bottom adapter back in August and still havent received it (or shipment notification)
As well as the 3 KISS carts I was told that I would be given for my perfectly functional double top which I sent in to get a single top that was safe for the hercules. I received a call saying double tops were not in any way being supported, but that they would send me 3 KISS carts for it, and that if I wanted an updated top with the short protection, I'd have to pay the $65
