Fuck, maybe i just got a great herc, but its never seen a multimeter, i run it on a v1 top with the hottest batteries i could throw cash at, no cool down hits, hold the button for days, i torch the stainless (only slightly, only slightly), ranch work, beach fun, and everything in between. Two or three months straight of that and only opening to occasional reclaim. I assembled it originally to compress the center pin compeletely, also probably not recommended by the creator. As long as i dont open it it prevents oil getting between the connections. Again no multimeter. Only upkeep is occasional torching of the coil for fresh flavor. As soon as i got some of the super hot lgdbhe21865 cells vapor production ramped up as well. Im not trying to start an argument or just jump to white knight, but ive put it through the ringer and have yet to experience catastrophic failure. In all honesty, i know the w9 crew push the aw's, but they didnt cut the mustard for the 3.7. The only time i was diddling and playing with the herc was the month i didnt own the lg cells.
