getting a bunch of k.i.s.s. carts in the mail tomorrow and seen the warranty is for DOA only, but isn't it bad to test the carts without any oil in them? Just don't want to be stuck with a DOA after I loaded it and found out the it was DOA. I'm sure that won't be the case at all but just thinking ahead.

On a side note, since upgrading to the SS long tube and running 2x Mnke 18650's I can go DAYS between recharges. Before it would require me to switch the AW/Efest 18350s at least twice a day with the same usage.

oh yeah, my stock batteries definitely work. but with my smoking habits I find myself needing to swap batteries after almost every session with the sr71 and flowers

also; what are you guys using to cut your coils...as silly of a question as that sounds >_>

Wire cutters work well. Then again so do scissors.

There are many type of scissors:

Fiber Glass
Metal
Paper
Composites

Tin Snips are the most in-expense type to cut the COIL'S to size.

"G" would know better than I!

@ataxian Yea. I prefer my head on my body... LOL I can literally see TJ from my balcony though. Looks pretty at night from this side of the border!

@druminfected Ive hammered my 2 ohm cart like a sonbitch for the past week or so. Hell I held the power down to burn off the wick for a good 30 seconds at a time on multiple occasions. I should note I lightly blow on the coil as I do this to help cool it a bit.

Multiple iso baths and a few grams used and the thing still runs like a champ. I think its primarily the 5ohm versions with the issues.

@itschad I used the small swiss army knife style scissors in my multi tool. In fact G used the same tool to cut my Original coil in person way back when. The trick is to use the fine tip to cut as few coil links as possible each time you snip (I tried for individual coils). It takes longer but I get nearly perfect cuts because you dont smash the links together.

Still having a difficult time with the Iris this is the one item thats pissing us off more then anything else.

I have one fix thats in the works currently and we shall see how that goes in testing.

@THC SCIENTIFIC got my black rod and stuff today. So far have tried it with 6 small aw's, an aw imr long batt. It heats but won't vape right. Wispy weak hits. I am on a 20% coil at this point. What else can I try?

I'm really getting upset at this Damn thing.

You prime it before hitting it? I was getting really frustrated with the black rod myself but after a week of trial and error it's giving me monster hits everytime. Try reassembling the herc that actually helped me a lot or reposition/check everything like the rod positioning and making sure the coil is sitting below or flush with the rod.

Go check my last comment as I edited it. Your not alone I couldn't get the black rod to work properly until recently


Also could be consistency of your concentrate maybe?
