Ordered a KISS to see what the hype is about. Plus I figured I should try one if I'm going to be recommending it to people. I figure this will work well with the short tube once my SS kit gets here. @THC SCIENTIFIC Damn you for not having the Ti version yet!

So its been a bit since ive posted, been spending time with persei and sr71.
At first persei bummed out and needed the updated tops. Problem solved. Then it was loaded with a 'G'ood amount of shatter. It worked well, good cloud coverage, shatter tasted like horsepiss though.
Then the hercs insides got a bath. This was because the shatter leaked down into the bottom portion of the sr71. No problem. Easy clean.
Tried out the black rod with all the fresh clean stuff. Fresh batteries, fresh clean. This time tried something other than shatter (some sort of wax), put in .3, very very very light result. So light that the black rod was switched out for the white rod.
The white rod got its second coming. Fresh batteries, same .3 plus about .15 more honeycomb. A fair size cloud. Since then, nothing. Even loaded .1 more. I must say, either sr71 EATS 'trate, or it doesnt produce much cloud.
Now, remember this... Not a cali person. Dont have a wide selection of 'trate available. Alot of it is homebrew garbage from 'cali', supposedly (so its somewhat cheaper).
As some of you know my use is going for efficiency, longevity and conservative. The old carts would go FOREVER. Hercules ATE near 2 'g'ood portions in 2 weeks with EXTREMELY light use. Maybe once or twice a day. The old carts would go a month+ on one drab of puregold.
In my opinion this is not an effective attachment for my use.
Heres a question, would this KISS better suit my needs. Since ive had persei and tried other units and attachments, the original D9 carts still held the longest life, seemed highly efficient, conserved EXCELLENT amounts (a month on half a 'g'ood portion), but LEAKED like an old faucet.
I have disliked the sr71, disliked cera, disliked thermovape evo, disliked the dart. A friend gets amazing things out of his $50 cloud pen thing. Which is insane. It outperforms my sr71 white rod full charge, full load.
I dont want the cloud, but i would like that reliability, conservativeness, and efficiency from a persei attachment. I dont want to drop 2 'g'ood portions of wax every two weeks. Thats alot. Especially when .5 puregold used to last in the carts for a month +.

Something isn't right. Def not right. If the oil isn't vaped it's not gonna disappear. If it did we could have created mini black hole. Where is my Nobel ? But all jokes aside there is something not right. May I ask @Porquiplane if it's possible to Skype?

what was your solution? Mine gets hot, fucking hot actually. But no vapor. If it throw it directly on it will, but thats MADDDD annoying. At that point its a nail system.

Sorry to hear about all of your issues so far bud, it's not fun wasting meds
Anyways, after a few full days with the SR-71 and the KISS carts I can lend you this bit of info...
The SR-71 is difficult to master but once you do, you can achieve the same, if not better efficiency than the kiss carts with more consistent vapor, however, you have to use a lot more meds to get the SR-71 up and running properly.
That being said, if you want something simple and efficient that doesn't need as much oil or a buffer, where all you have to do is unscrew the top part and drop a little tiny dab on the wire and press a button, you'll be happy with the KISS carts. You can get a decent cloud off of a teeny tiny dab, but then you have to put another one on the element again if you want more. I have to load more than once to get to where I need to go but I have a stupid high tolerance.

Thanks JL. At this point it may be more cost effective to just sell the sr71 and get the kiss. problem sounding with the kiss is that im a 'load once, good for a week+' kind of user. Could you load like .5 in the 5 ohm kiss and use it on 3.7v for say a week+ on that single load?

I mean it gets good flow, but it just seems to vaporize without producing vapor? Really odd. Maybe its getting caught in the coils and not producing because of that?

I'm not sure if the 5ohm would heat up fast enough on 3.7v? I haven't tried loading more than .2 at a time into the kiss as it's hard to cram more than that in there without it getting all over the sides and mouthpiece.
I met, chilled, went on the tour bus and blazed with spitta, trademark, dza, fiend, P and young roddy a little while back in Vancouver and got their numbers and hooked them up with G. Was a pretty incredible night for buddy and I.
The craziest part of it is I can still txt Trademark and shit to say merry xmas and thanksgiving and whatnot or ask random questions and even after a year or two, I still get a response. Pretty awesome considering how big Jet Life Recordings is getting.

**Test Cart Update**
Figured I would share what happened to me last night with everyone...
Went to the Jet Life Tour 2012 concert last night with a fully loaded test cart and bunch of BHO joints and a friend and I were blazing outside Curren$y, Trademark, Fiend, Young Roddy and Corner Boy P's tour bus, when Trademark stepped out and blazed with us and I showed him the Persei. We ripped on it for a good 45 mins before a couple more of the rappers came off the tour bus to try the Persei.
We ended up getting invited inside their tour bus to blaze and everyone ripped on the Persei for a good half hour or so until they were really medicated...
Anyways they hooked me up with their phone # and they asked me to get in touch with THC SCIENTIFIC because they want a few Persei's, and I figured this would be a great chance to get some amazing advertising for THC if I could... and I did
I got videos of them smoking it and repping the Persei name saying things like "We need this device"... they even said they want to use it in their music videos and to bless women with it lol... got it all on tape!
The Persei was a champ last night and Trademark went on to say "unlike the trippy stick, this shit clutches every time"
We ripped on it pretty much non stop for quite some time and it got damn hot but no leaks or clogs... these new carts are great!
I have to figure out how to get the video's off of my phone and rotate them the correct way, anyone know an easy way?

Yup. Take a cigarette condom (those silocone tips that come with the OG Persei and Omicron carts) and cut the wide part (the part that slips over the cart) off of the upper cone. Then put that on the tip of your hercules with a tad bit hanging over the end (think uncircumcised penis... but not when youre using it).
This will allow it to seal properly inside the PNWT if you push the tip in there a bit.
