Does anyone have an opinion on which Herc is better if the only intent is to vape flowers? Using oil in it doesn't really matter...

If you are a flower purist, you should get the bender over the hercules IMO. the bender sacrifices the ability to vape oils for the added purity of flavor that comes with glass.

i'd go 3.7 and use it on the persei, personally. grind size, moisture and packing greatly varies performance, as w/ many vapes

That is what I was thinking. I love my Bender and all, but I am setting up a Persei for an older person. I kind of feel like the Bender could be a bit more "contraption-esque" for them. The Herc seems to be a bit more self contained. I could be wrong, though. I have yet to actually use a herc. I feel like the 3.7v herc on the persei is possibly the most streamlined setup.

I finally got a really big, super dense cloud that I have been looking for from my hercules, but it tasted really weird...

I tried taking the mouthpiece off again and to my surprise it had begun to melt so I'm assuming I was tasting Delrin???

That is scary shit! What really concerns me is the possible health effects from inhaling the fumes from melting delrin!

If it was me I would stop using that immediately!

Edit: It looks like it was already starting to melt in those before pictures as well.

I didn't time it but I'd say I took a couple big hits like usual, about a min a piece, with a few little ones inbetween without the button pressed to try to cool it as instructed. I didn't do anything I don't usually do.

to hopefully lesson stress by comparison. i friend of mine back in the day offered to smoke me and two friends out, only drawback was he coated it w/formaldehyde in an effort to make a ghetto version of "sherm". (real "sherm" is cannabis laced w/ pcp) it was late (3:30am) we had little else to do as is the bane of suburbia while under age and nite owls so we said fuck it. the smoke was awful enough, however, my friend had the unfortunate experience of mistaking her water bottle for dude's bottle of the chemical (same exact brand and size) so to lesson the harsh taste of the "sherm" she took two huge swallows of formaldehyde. i've seen a few OD's, more than my share of vomiting, but that was by far the most brutal thing i've ever seen. fyi, that was 15 yrs. ago, and so far she's ok. drink lots of water (actual water) and you should be ok. i haven't had anything near that, hope not to either.

Thanks Bob definitely makes me feel a bit better about the situation lol! Just hope we can get all this shit sorted out and fixed ASAP... Was not a fun experience, I always seem to have the worst of luck

I believe it was said that the 3.7v was going to be best for flowers only so it won't be able to combust which is what I was thinking about getting but I went ahead and got the 7.4v. You can start vaping flowers after only a few seconds so you do gotta be careful you dont combust but now that I got some bho I'm really glad I got the 7.4v with oil tanks, really loving my herc!
If you have any sort of access to bho/waxes i'd say get the 7.4v because you may actually end up using the tanks some day..

the herc has like 8 parts of varying materials...the bender is 2 pieces of glass and a hammer that requires zero maintenance itself. The two glass pieces just require iso soak and rinse. my grandmother could use my bender and she has very poor eyesight. I guarantee she would not be able to use the herc.

So, this BBK tests at a 15.05% THC, do we agree? Look on page two for the "Max Theoretical THC" and that is the number they use. Same reason MedMar has a 29% THC bud and same reason people say PureGold is 90-95%. They are basically posting THC-A%, not THC. I don't support (misleading patients.) liars....

Edit- that wax from revolution looks pretty garbage, no way it's 94%!
