Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

BLAZING OG

Vaping is a way of life!
who ever has a hercules will call with their order number, name and information and we will ship out the parts, it needs to be cataloged so that we dont get swindled by few people who will keep calling every other day to get spare parts.
Do we do this closer to when the parts are due( jan.5-8), or should we do this as soon as possible

guys its going to get fixed January we will ship out replacement parts and all will be well hopefully by then heater issue will be resolved.

Hey G,

Just curious. What parts are being replaced? Also, I am the furthest thing from a tech guy, but I noticed that the regular Hammer 1200 has the metal casing all the way up to and around the heating rod. Would doing the same thing in production with the Hercules' mini hammer solve the problem with the leaky heaters?

do NOT operate the hammer with the heat shield (cap with holes) still threaded on. Unscrew it to reveal the ceramic. Now your rod goes all the way in Bender's hole. oO

was thinking of something and wanted to share, maybe get opinions.... would something like this be possible? or practical?

I definitely was not implying that I do that. I always have the top off of my hammer when in use.

What I mean is, if you look at where the rod joins the base of the Hammer 1200, everything is metal except for the ceramic rod itself. When you look at where the mini Hammer in the Hercules joins the base, the ceramic rod is surrounded by a large ceramic surface area (which seems to be where all of the oil has been seeping through).

I was suggesting getting rid of that ceramic surface are on the base of the mini Hammer, effectively rendering it identical to the build of the Hammer 1200. I hope this all makes sense?

now i get it...but i still think it'll leak like a mofo, my hammer even has a small groove in it. I have no doubt that groove serves a purpose, but if I were oil, I would start there! Like 20 pages back when I was first trying to figure out what the hell was going on and like nobody else had a Herc yet, I linked some "adhesive" that was designed for bonding plated metal to ceramic. Inverting the design so the heater is oriented on top of the tank would also work, but poses an electrical problem. I agree with you that a "solid floor" is paramount no matter the execution IMO.

the battery is the IMR18650 1600mah 3.7v its not a complete 100% charge but still pretty fresh

i let it warm up for 45sec-1min and then i just tried putting it on my oil and it just pooled up.

see your not using 7.4v, a 18650 1600 mah is 3.7v, you need to use the two smaller red IMR batteries that are 800mah each.

no worries, the regular cart meaning 5 ohm? because at 7.4v you can only use the 5 ohm. Be careful, please read the manual as this is important and you will better understand the unit.

Yea the 5 ohm now I know and won't do that anymore. Read over the manual one more time. Thanks again for the great products and great support G

The hammer requires 7.4v, as G has stated, and even still requires about a 45 second warm-up before it is visibly glowing orange. Also, I would not push it for more than 5 minutes of "on the button" time per charge.

Does anyone have an opinion on which Herc is better if the only intent is to vape flowers? Using oil in it doesn't really matter...
