I am getting moster clouds from a little more than a dabs worth, but if u add .3 minimum as G advised you will get huge clouds, the more you put in the more you get back!!!!
I also tried pulling air thru both sides of the oil tank and it seems air tight, so as a test i hit the herc with the oil tank in place but with the oil tank cap removed, and seemed to get even bigger hits FWIW!!!!

Guys the form factor is king, nothing comes close to doing two things with one cartridge. The revisions we have going for the tanks will increase vapor production 2 fold or better.

on a side not this mini hammer rod in the herc turns red quite fast, i mean it blows the full size hammer rod warm up time by a large margin!!!!

so upset right now i held off getting a cartridge for a month because i pre ordered the hercules and couldn't afford to buy anything else. I was supposed to get the hercules the day before thanksgiving but no one came so here i am looking forward to finally being able to use my persei again instead of my stupid pipe watching the usps guy pass my house as he tells me he does not have my package. My weekend is gonna suck soooo much :'( it really sucks when the tracking says it was delivered to my house two days ago too

we say cap on. If you dont want it to leak, you might forget and place it on its side and it will leak out.

woot, got my herc

Boiled it a couple times, loaded up. little disapointing Hits semi-flavorfull, but nowhere near as thick as a 4ohm @7.4V hit. Loaded up a second time with about 4x as much(weighed out as .09 the second time which is roughly a ball the width of the cartidge), works much better. Imediatly went into hacking frenzy. Taste is much improved over the old-style cartidges. I had thought this was going to be a load per-use device, but it seems not (unless you smoke .15 or .2 in a sitting, i take it easy at ~1g/wk). Having a minor quality-control issue as well with the piece that connects between heater core and persei, but have contacted d9v support i'm sure they will take care of me.

Awsome! sadly i will need to find some new tubing to use my bubbler with the herc, the mouthpiece is way wider than the old ones. Glad that one was able to stretch!

EDIT: spoke to soon, i can slip one of the regular cartridge delrin(?) tips over the new herc mouthpiece, and then mate that with a tube coming out my bubbler.

I'm going to have to vote for using a tube to learn the finer points of button massage for the herc, just like many of us did for the original carts

IMO from the little use I have had, I will still use the original carts as my mobile cart. Once I get the herc down it will be my at home cart. I am actually more impressed with herbs in my Herc right now. It might be cuz I have thick Waxes.

Loaded approx. .125 of some stable bubba kush wax, kinda a darker caramel color!!! thick & not the best ive had but herc makes it taste and hit really well!!!

Myself being one of the people with a really high tolerance, I think that it is a good thing! I am not at all complaining about the huge clouds.
Would you say my figures are pretty close there G?

Obviously it will be different for everyone based on personal technique, I am just trying to get some figures for the people that are on the fence so to speak.

Yea i did the break in, although only 3 times instead of 5(damn impatience). Actually the flavor is quite good, reminds me of the flavor i get with weed + bag vape(volcano, et al).

Still havn't gotten any hits with the thickness that i usually get from the 4Ω carts, probably just need alot more work on technique, will get there.

EDIT: I may not be getting thick clouds(yet), but due to the heat up and cool down times requiring many hits a significant amount of THC appears to have been delivered.

The figures don't matter much as its made to produce vapor, it all depends on how long if a hit you take. If you consider that then you can't come up with figures because one mans 5 second hit is another mans 30 second rip.

Funny you mention that. I was like "I wonder why they chose 5 times". I had to do 2 Hercs. Both times the sizzling stopped on the 5th time.
