The Hercules is the best and you wouldnt have to worry about it, if it goes out 6 month warranty, after the 6 months its rebuildable. so your safe brotha.

Thanks! Tis certainly not glass. But it is nice when traveling to go pick up a disposable bubbler with a carbon fliter. Wash out the pieces. Use the Persiei tips to connect to the straws. I actually worked it out over 2 days traveling in Nashville. I brought the Persei in my carryon and the empty carts in my luggage with a battery pile.

Quick question.. I seem to remember someone saying it was dangerous to use 3.7v li.ion batteries if the label has been torn. Can I get some more info?

One of the labels on my AW IMR's got partially ripped by the charger. From the bottom, almost all the way to the top. Its an eighth of an inch wide or so.

Should I not use this battery anymore?

IMRs are not Li-ions (at least of the protected sort which was the original discussion). Protected batteries have a thin conductor under the skin. If the jacket is broken allowing this to short to the wall of the battery tube, bad things can happen.

IMRs don't have that dangerous connection needing insulating. One without any jacket at all is safe enough if it's in the bottom position (against the spring) and you take care not to short circuit the shell to the center pin at the top.

Given the low cost of these guys relative to the damage they can do, I'd replace any questionable ones.....

What will the v2 Iris have that v1 doesn't? What will the upgrade stipulations be, and any idea on v2 release or price?

I've been dying for the Iris! On another note, I need a Stainless Persei too.

Will they be out before the 90day warranty expires? I'm just trying to figure out how much it's going to cost for the Iris V1 AND the Iris V2 "upgrade option" when it comes out shortly? :hmm:

I wont name the changes on the v2 yet, but once we confirm them it should be a substantial improvement. I am waiting on feedback from you guys.
