I don't know, seeing pics of it on the omi lite and minicron lite I'm liking the smaller diameter. It looks way sleeker and less like a mace.

Yeah putting the Okeanos on my Omicron Lite definitely feels top heavy but still doable. I'm just a stickler for always using a bubbler and love the Okeanos conceptually. I just want to get more use out of it. When all my LAYG sessions are now with the Globe (soon AC) then the Okeanos just sits there.
I dunno man,
never know one day you might be able to use your kiss Ac carts in the okeanos.

Just received Persei V2 backups from W9! Fucking love at first sight seeing these older chrome tubes!! Lol I was in a search for chrome persei tubes to match my iris and hammer top. KISS AC came; out of oil, and omw to a movie, so it will have to wait, but even the pic w/ Okeanos didn't give me proper perspective; thing's tiny! Build quality and tiny size look great, can't wait to test drive tonight. New 1700 looks fly enough that I hopped online and preordered the 7.4v, figuring I'll love it with the wick, since I felt like the 3.7v globe needz moar powar heating the underside to operate at its full potential (just the impression the disposable gave me, but for $15 I figured why not get another rebuildable 1700 and see?).

My KISS AC tracking said the label was created Thurs May 14th and continues to say only that. If I know UPS it will say that until they fail to deliver it sometime this week. Then I'll go wait in line with a bunch of mouth-breathers at the post office. Then I'll get my new toy!

My kiss alpha c was out for delivery today, I was pretty excited. I was up at 8 and stalled on my plans for the day until 3 and eventually left feeling pretty sad I was going to miss the delivery and that I had to hang out with a now angry wife. Came home tonight and saw online the guy came at 10:30 am and left a slip in my mailbox saying the package couldn't be delivered because "Receptacle Blocked". Usps never even tried come to my door. Ah well, Monday is still better than mid-june.

They aren't shavings, per se. It wasn't deburred, so they're still attached. Was able to remove some by hand with a drill bit, a couple are still clinging. Also, the globe threads seem to be a bit screwy on my base, as they stick right after threading and need a considerable amount of force to get going again. They didn't damage the base's threads, but they are a little damaged/jagged about 1/2 way through the first thread. Pics:
Hard to tell from pics, but the thread rolls over onto one side, making the space between those 2 threads too small to fit the thread you're screwing in.
For those interested, here are the coil housings. Single, double, 1701 v2. The double is huge! Base and wick also pictured.
Dual coil has wraps as far as the eye can see, lol.

@ragnorokk Bummer on the Centauri globe threading. I'm sure @THC SCIENTIFIC will make good.
Carts look great. Give us a pic of the coil too! Didn't realize the dual coil was going to be a wider diameter. What a beast! The rebuildable 1701 looks like the old first gen 1701 for the old Kiss Globe. You have got me super pumped now. Can't wait for my AC to arrive on Wednesday!!
