hey you never got back to me on the dimensions or a pic next to the persei ss w. kiss cart? and is it JUST herb or herb and oil together. or herb seperate if you want, oil seperate if you want, both together if you want.

Hi guys, I'm still using my first (and only) 7.4V kiss cart since august, impressed cause I was afaraid to break it quickly as lot of peoples mentionned it here....I don't push the button more than 2-3s and be carefull to never run it dry (except for cleaning).
When it will die I 'll get a big problem, how to choose between all this carts?
I want to order the sr74x upgrade too but it's not enough to justify the expensive international shipping cost, I prefer to wait to get a bulk order....and maybe the Flexo will be soon ready for beta testing......

@Big Baby Jesus we are going through a transitional phase and the SS kits will be back online later. Currently the v1, v2 and v3 tops fit the ss tubes with the v4 having some trouble since we switch to in house manufacturing of parts. The Current SS kits where outsourced this is the reason why its not available online anymore.
Future SS kits will be manufactured by us but we are a bit away on that as we simply dont have enough production capacity to get the SS kits in there since we have other things we are working on like the Kiss Alpha, 1701 and other things.

Cool. I just felt like a retard when I couldn't find it this morning. I think it's a good thing that you're working towards making everything yourself. Will be less problematic when all is said and done.

and I must send it in for repair ---- which means back to batteries
I have been having issues with the batteries / or charger --
I put the battery in slot 1 --- or 2 if I want to try both --
I have the plus up ---- as it shows --
when it is like this the light shows read steady ( i don't think this is charging ?? )
if I flip the battery it shows green ---- ( the battery needs a charge of course )
am I doing something silly and wrong ?
or ..... maybe a problem with the charger ??
I've tried different batteries with same result ?

If I understand you right, and if you're talking about the charger that came with your Persei, solid red light means it IS charging and the batteries are dead. Should always put the batteries in with the button side (+ charge) upwards. It will slowly blink green, increasing, until it is solid green, meaning they're fully charged.

So if I have an older ss already and ever manage to get the v4 Id have to buy a new SS kit also?
It's a possibility that it can work but it's not going to be guaranteed.

not sure what the issue is, seems like you are doing everything correctly you just need to wait for it to charge hehe? When it's solid red it's charging AFAIK. I was not a fan of the stock charger however and upgraded to a 4bay digital voltage readout EFEST charger.... it's way better.

My suspicion is that there may be an issue with batteries being able to make a connection. When I got my V4 they sent me a SS kit along with it (it was their xmas present to me I guess hehe, thanks uptech!), but I think subsequently someone from uptech told it was because the old ones were incompatible.
I actually ended up having to go through this whole procedure to get my V4 working right on my core, as the V4 is apparently getting rid of the "beauty ring" on the persei. I couldn't figure out how to get my V4 to work on a tube where the threads didn't show, because when I added a beauty ring to get rid of the extra threads the v4 would no longer "reach" down to the core center pin so I just had to ghetto blast it with bare threads for a while... eventually found out through the ticket system that the core center pin is just barely adjustable and was able to spin it out like 1/16", just enough for it to make contact with the v4 on the new beauty ringless tube they sent. Then I use my old core tube with a beauty ring for 7.4v battery mode, and the "long" ss tube they sent is my 3.7v battery mode, and a shorty SS for stealthykisses.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Whenever I plug in the core, I get three blinking lights every time. But it works fine, I just click 5times and I'm up and running. Can you tell me what the 3 blinking lights mean? I see no problem. I always get it when I plug the larger core tube with my Persei top.

I think he is referring to how the core is very "touchy" with the connection where the cord plugs into the core insert. Mine always shuts itself off / blinks thrice / gives red light flash if I accidentally jiggle the cord during use. It has to be at such an angle where there is no stress or tension on that joint or it won't fire properly....

IC. I only use the core in my car and never had a problem. Maybe it's because I purchased it recently and they made some fixes. The only problem I see here is that once you have the battery on the charger you are imagining that something is wrong and worrying about it instead of letting the battery charge! Just let it do its thing please don't worry so much.
If you flip the battery over and put it in something like a charger THEN you have cause to worry as installing batteries upside down is very silly indeed and potentially bad for your health. Please put the battieries in the charger only right side up not upside down and when the red charging indicator comes on please let it charge. This is the only way to untether from the Core... let them get their electrons on.
You can cut the cart with a tubing cutter if you want just Put the bridge back in
personally I don't see the need for any other EO cart other than the EO cart that exists and if you want a similar thing smaller maybe the Kiss Mini? A surprisingly rad performer. If only it were a touch shorter so it could fit in the Okeanos without cutting. Still havent tried that part yet.
