have you checked to see if your gold center pin is still springy? Mine got gunned up and worked ok for a while after an evercLear soak but slowly started getting stuck down now it's loose and I had to adjust my rod down a bit to get good consistent contact again

I have a replacement center pin waiting at home along with a brand new nibbler xl can't wait to get out of work

That nibbler xl will change the way you look at w9 oil tools. Beautiful experience here. Pure pleasure! If you mastered the Herc already the Nibbler xl will make you giggle. Make sure you get a good seal on the top o ring adapter. If you have a good seal you will be pulling clouds in no time.

Yes many people including myself have complained about the low quality ti kiss carts but thcscientific has chosen to ignore all of us.

The ceramic cup is extremely loose on these ti kiss carts. The cup spins way too easily and pulls the ti wire straight out of the coupler. This is impossible to fix without a new ti wire, new coupler, and new non resistance wire. Very annoying.

And for the record..the rebuild instructions are for the nichrome kiss and not the ti kiss. It's not the same thing.

Now from what we got from our customers is to make the kiss as clean hitting as possible. This also means that all non-essential materials had to go.

Including the Nichrome mesh that surrounds the ceramic cup on carts of this nature.

Be careful man! I personally don't bring out the Nibbler outside my house. I tend to use it at home only. Especially if you are using it with the 8. One drop can break it. Just the nature of the beast...

Thats why I invested in an OrderedKhaos stand I like to call the "Armatura". Probably not going to do much if dropped. However the base and weight of this thing helps prevent it from being knocked over.

No you stated the kiss being low quality. Meaning parts used that are not up to industry standards. I mind telling you the standards are set by us.

As for the kiss breaking easily I can say the opposite as we have many customers who use the kiss carteidges for over a month.

As for dodging anyone I do not. If you read my posts and have followed us for a long time you'll know Ill take a stand and take a problem head on. This problem to me looks like user error, there for I can not fix that. You might not like this explanation but it's the truth. The ceramic cup was pulled out because oil solidifying and causing it to stick. Which easily can be fixed by making sure the oil never leaves the ceramic bowl and never to over load it.

Ok moving on. If you really want a cartridge that does not break and has a 1 year warranty I suggest you look into the Hercules Sr74x.

Uhm.. So I was using my 74x outside work without the heat shield (have had it off since I have to take it apart so often now). Put the 74x in my pocket to go inside and take a piss n when I came back outside I realized the top cap & mouthpiece fell off somewhere and I couldn't find it..

@THC SCIENTIFIC im willing to buy the 74x upgrade kit to replace the top cap (I don't see it sold alone on the site ? Unless it is cuss that's all I need) BUT I don't see the 74 mouthpiece anywhere so I was wondering if that could be included ?? Please get back to me asap so I can get back to vaping.

i can remove the orange ring if thats the only problem you see happening? currently the orange ring isnt even touching the chamber its slightly out so that the bottom of the mouthpiece isnt touching my oil.

Well I have no real experience with what your attempting. Just be cautious about inhaling fumes from hot plastic, o-ring or not. Also it would suck to get melted plastic on or in the herc itself.

My advice would be to temporarily retire the Herc. Use another vape setup you might have around until you get a proper replacement part(s). I know, its hard to not use the Hercules!

On another note, I just received some fresh new AW IMR's from RTD Vapor. I have several AW's purchased from various sellers online including eBay. I'm just not confident that all of them are authentic. Out with the old, in with the new!

Instead of buying the entire SR-74x upgrade kit you might be able to use this instead:

I believe the SR-71 used a threadless cap like the 74x. The 74 introduced the threaded cap and it gets gummed up and stuck which is why @THC SCIENTIFIC reverted back to the old style for the x rev. Could be wrong though I don't personally own a 71 (unfortunately).

That red "o" ring is food grade silicone good to 450F. I don't think THAT part of the Herc gets hot enough to melt them (I have put my lips directly on this part when hot. Not comfortable, but not burning me). I think the mouthpiece is Teflon. That should be good to at least the same temp. I think you're good, just don't overdo it.
