Soo im out of wax for the next couple days for anyone thats had some sort of success w. the 7.4 sr74x and flower... how did you do it ? im about to try as i have 6g~ of flower to hold me over..

i think i remember someone saying just leave the rod in but take out the coil for just flower?

I have seen that method mentioned before, also I have heard that combining the flowers with some oil will help get a more consistent vape (though this won't work for you obviously unless you have some reclaim oil to dump on top or something ) Just thinking about it in a logical manner I don't see why this shouldn't work. The ceramic rod will absolutely get hot enough to vape the material, it will just be a matter of riding the button properly to get a "vape" out of it and not combustion. Please let me know if you try it how it works out, I always get given free buds at my dispensary and they have just been piling up in a jar since I got the hercules hehehe :>

I think the best way is to remove the ceramic rod then use the pokey tool to push the coil up from the bottom, least chance for damage to the coil this way

My guess is a portable herb vaporizer maybe? It looks really wide, like wide as the herc with heatsheild on. Seperates at that silver ring in the middle I assume for loading, or perhaps it's an adjustable airflow ring? I wish I worked at UPtech R&D what a job

OK, so I've got a Persei & Herc, and I'm seriously considering selling them

The herc is a lovely way to vape, but it's just way too expensive...
I would just about throw a party if I could get access to concentrates at or below $100/g - at this point that 0.3g buffer that's needed feels like it's essentially me throwing $50 down the drain...
If I could access some of the $30-60/g concentrates I see some of you guys in the US have, I wouldn't be having an issue with it I'd just be jamming as much errl as I could into it

I've been quite happy with the performance of my Kiss globe and minicron, and the persei/herc is just kinda gathering dust most of the time

Is there anything coming down the pipeline that would make me want to reconsider selling off the persei/herc combo?

blaah. well my rod is stuck in there (little bit of wax leaked down center hole) and i'd rather not go about cleaning and removing it since its stuck at the right spot for the right voltage and i never need to take it apart to adjust (its really stuck).. just cleaned up some of the reclaim in the bottom chamber from accidentally leaving the hammer top on the other day so iguess ill vape that until my new wax comes in

My rod has gotten stuck before as well, I think it was due to all the buildup of hardened crust on the upper side of the rod. I was able to slide it upwards no problem and take it out the top side/loosen it up then slide it back and forth gently until it comes out the bottom.

bah maybe I'll just have to experiment on myself with these buds in the herc!

@Frederick McGuire Instead of selling off your equipment, I would highly recommend looking into making your own concentrates. There are tons of different methods. If you're not comfortable using butane for extractions, you can try a quick wash with 99% iso, or even go the bubble hash/full melt route (although you need a lot of material and work to get a lot of quality bubble). I've made my own for years, first using the quick wash iso technique, and later moving on to butane extractions. As long as you are careful and do things outside in a well ventilated area/away from anything that can spark or ignite, you should be fine.

EDIT: Looks like @lonelyhero had the same idea.

Hi I recently purchased the Delta9 persei original it was supposed to come in titanium well i get the package and its a black original like i asked for but it came in the ti white box and didnt include the single battery, the dual top, the fill tool, or the cartridges for it i only recieved a kiss 7.4 wax atomizer with it and im very upset about this situation I cant even use the pen until i can get all of the other parts or have them send me a new pen but i cant get anything out of them i ordered it from yourvaporizers.com if you can help me out at all that would be greatly appreciated.

It seems to me like your issue is with yourvaporizers.com, if they didn't send you everything that they have on that list then they are lying jerks IMO.

If it came with the 2x 18350's you can at least use it with the 7.4v cartridge so all is not lost...

The double top is no longer in production, it is an old style that is obsolete now. If you truly want to get the best out of your persei look into getting a Hercules SR-74x, absolute top of the line oil cartridge.

If you have a 7.4v wax cartridge like you said, you shouldn't need a fill tool for it... once you take the kiss cart apart you should see the heating coil there in the ceramic bowl, just drop a dab of wax on it and let er rip with 1-2 second button pushes on that bad boy...

I dunno, that link you posted earlier says it should come with a double top in the included optional accessories, if they didn't send it to you then it's false advertising.... and they should be held accountable because you were expecting to recieve the product they were advertising. However I wouldn't know anywhere else to get a double top.

You may be able to jimmy rig something to get your wax into the EO cart, I have never used one but from what I have read it seems like basically you just have to gently melt your wax down to a more liquidy form and dump it down the EO cart so that it runs down to the coil at the bottom. Using a lighter/torch along the sides of the eo cart will help the wax run down the sides.

Got my v4 top in the mail today through warranty repair.

You can see in the picture that the top is a little bit taller than the older ones(hammer top is shown)

This is what I received the original persei not the ti model but it came in the new models box, inside was the up tech 7.4v wax atomizer, two red batterys, charger,battery tool, 2.4 ohm silver cart that requires the fill tool, and no fill tool or dual top and it was supposed to include the outdated carts and dual top...idk how to post the picture from my phone...I talked with customer service at yourvaporizers.com and they said as long as I send this one back unused they will send me what I originally purchased.
