A Deaf student to whom I was a teacher at age 10, is now an adult, and we are friends. He acquired a hearing impaired dog, and asked about the gestures I use for obedience commands with my dog. I made this brief video to show him on Facebook, since we are many miles apart.

Child Of The Revolution
Having to make that terrible, terrible, end of life decision. Both of my older dogs, 14 and 18, have gone into a decline, and it's now full time care, saying goodbye, and hoping to find that exact moment when it's time to let them go. It's been less than two weeks since my 18 year old cat died, and they don't seem to want to go on without her. We lost another cat in September, and I have no idea about anything except needing sleep, much less having the capacity to be able to devine the right moment.
