I’m feeling pretty lucky about owning an OG Nomad (would love to have an Okin too, or any of Dan’s artwork for that matter). IMO, anybody with an early unit who hasn’t done the button upgrade should jump on it right away. It’s not difficult (ok, magnet placement was a little tricky, but it wasn’t technically difficult) and it moved my Nomad out of the drawer and back into rotation.

I’m definitely looking forward to the Nomad II though. I love the design changes, not only aesthetically but functionally as well. It’ll be a while before I see it though, as I just got on the list after Dan revealed it. Worth waiting for, I’m sure.

Just received the email from Dan regarding options on the Nomad II.

Key point, for me anyway, is there are about 150 on the waitlist, and I’m likely at or hear the bottom. At 3 months per batch of 30, I’m 15 months out. However, since about 50% drop out when their time comes, I should be in the third batch, or about 9 months out.

Yeah, drop out you fools! Drop out now!

GodDAMN the Nomad II is everything I ever wished a Nomad without a sleeve would be.

Long ago has my interest waned in any other vape than what's coming from Dan. A true artist and craftsman if I've ever seen one. And I'm jealous and I'm also excited to see what he comes up with in the years to come.
