Mine was not threadlocked, but it's an earlier version of it. so ymmvoooh! nice. makes me want to try mine with a 510 extension. how did you behead your neo? i understand they are threadlocked. curious over here.
That’ll be fine. I use those. That’s just a CYA note from the manufacturer selling unprotected 18650 cells.Advice please @Black_Prrl and knowledgeable folks:
I bought this Samsung 25R 18650 2500mAh 20A Battery (25R8) as a backup. Is it compatible with Neo? It seems to have appropriate specs but has a scary lawyer warning on it “not for vape! Never install, carry, or handle”. Is that ass-covering, or did I buy the wrong thing?
Always better safe then sorry with batteries :-)Thanks. Thought so, but as a complete noob to 510 devices didn’t want to assume
Not normal... I'll DM with followup. Is it normal for the quartz chimney to be loose? Mine makes a distinct but quiet rattling noise when i move it around, and I can feel that its loose when I touch it. It doesnt seem to affect the performance in any way.
Mine is on the way to the UK , I cannot wait looks a beauty. Also dealing with @CDXX Pipes was a pleasure from beginning to end and I will definitely add another piece in the futureI commissioned a pipe by @CDXX Pipes and it's made. Gorgeous grain on the wood, and made for my limited hand function. Now to get it to the Netherlands. Can't wait! Many thanks for translating my input to such a gorgeous object, @CDXX Pipes ! It will be a joy to use, I'm already sure.
Stunning!Who is interested in how those Handcrafted Briar Burl Neo pipes turned out?
Here I am going back thru the thread looking for bowls that people have liked to get to using this more and I find this post..... I still haven't tried using the TB stem with the pot lol.... Tonight! But I'm still looking for a bowl, 14 or 18 to use my existing glass with.Alright maybe I am getting a bit carried away trying to find matches for the Neo, but the Tafee Bowle 'pot' fits so neatly I had to give it a try. A little awkward angle but yep, works great.
Just for the change of gears I was able to have a few nice terpy hits with the Neo, then just swap the stem back into the TB and make sure to finish it off completely.
Pretty fun and an efficient way to get more hits, all tasting great. The AVB shot is a single 30 sec heat cycle with the Neo.

I have been using these cheap all glass slides from Dhgate. The snowflake spreads the heat, no central hole. The distance is perfect and just tap sides to stir. The silicone adaptor only just lips inside the rim so you have to line it up.Here I am going back thru the thread looking for bowls that people have liked to get to using this more and I find this post..... I've gotten good results so far, but I'm a convenience kinda guy, this needs a "setup".
Plus, I see @ShayWhiteGrow topping my clouds a bit, so I know there's more to find.

My absolute favorite setup for my Neo is a Sticky Brick Runt or the O'Connell Noisy Cricket. So much so that I ordered a Hydrobrick Maxx and Sticky Brick OG to use with the Neo exclusively, hopefully they ship soon. I won't use them with butane, I'm not a fan of vaping that way. Here I am going back thru the thread looking for bowls that people have liked to get to using this more and I find this post.....
